I found this 100+ year old Zoology book at an antique store years ago an was using it as a prop for photographing the bookmarks Ive been making (I'm getting ready to open an Etsy store) and I thought Id take some pictures of the book itself.

Lets start with this gorgeous picture of a Hawk moth because it would be a shame to let it get hidden behind the "read more". I encourage you to click for the full view because the amount of detail is amazing.

Monarch vs Viceroy

Someone penciled in the word shell next to class Crustacea here and I love it. I wonder who did it? How long has that pencil mark been there?

There are so many lovely illustrations in here, I would love to scan the whole book some day if I could find the time.

Title page and I love the "property of" stamp. I cut it off but the book was published in 1907.
