Looking forward to the inevitable boom of Persona 4 art in my feed now that we got that news bomb about the remake.
How you guys would feel if i did an ULTRAKILL AU for Transformers Animated? Am planning a comic atm
It’s one of those days where I can’t stop thinking about mortal!alec vs immortal!alec. On the one hand, I think Alec would be an amazing warlock, especially with Magnus by his side, but that would mean that he couldn’t be a shadowhunter/involved in shadowhunter politics anymore and I don’t think that’s anything he would want.
I do believe he would give it up for Magnus, but I think he cares more than the show has let it seem. He wants to change the world, mean something, actually make a substantial difference in the fight against demons and fight for justice/equality.
I don’t like where the show went in the series finale. I’d like to think he stayed in New York and became actual HOTI instead of just Acting Head, Magnus stayed in position of HWOB (and Lawsofchaos’ Consular Warlock Magnus verse is canon to me, so he’s that too).
If there was a way for Alec to become immortal while still being a shadowhunter, he’d do it instantly. If not, he’d still want to be involved in the politics, which is what strenghtens my belief in him waiting years (maybe decades) until he made it politically possible for himself. That’d make the physical age difference between him and Magnus bigger though, and that would make for another series of insecurities maybe, not only about looks, but also about capabilities. I don’t think Magnus would necessarily care, but maybe Alec would?
It’s all very interesting to me to see where he would go with this, and then we haven’t even dived into whether or not Magnus would even want Alec to be immortal and what the consequences would be for him.
hey, in Darkwood there’s a dude by the crop field ramming his head into a tree next to a corpse, should i go up to him? i only have a board with nails right now
Yo I wouldn’t—
why are there always people talking in Ebondrake Citadel region chat?
doing these asks makes me wish my character was nicer. like she’s nice TO people, but deep down doesn’t give a shirt. *sighs* i still love her tho
I’m having too much fun with XCOM2 lately, just, in general. Downloaded a bunch of mods that added in Mass Effect species and playable aliens as a thing, and then I proceeded to go into their files and tweak the numbers so that they’re all way more powerful, because humans are weak and stuff. :B Then cause I’m trash, I was like, I’ll write vorish biographies for everybody because why not it’s fun. (Though unfortunately, the playable aliens can’t get saved to the character pool for some reason, so, just the ME aliens carry over from game to game.) So then because they were all overpowered I was like, alright, let’s do a higher difficulty. Then Ironman. Now another difficulty again because seriously wow I overpowered those guys. Add in a few starter mods to help get things going (and boost starting guns a bit), custom enemies, squad size boost, more maps, and I’ve sort of got a little custom/challenge thing going on right now.
Basically:
- Legend difficulty (aka the hardest) - “Ironman” mode, where I’ll save at the beginning of a mission and only roll back if it’s going to be a complete wash (chosen after repeated failures at the first mission, because wow it’s super-hard whether it’s ironman or not) - Only 1/2 of the squad can be the overpowered aliens, might bump down to 1/3. - 1/3 of the squad (rounded up) must be lowest-ranking recruits - Anyone who dies gets a little snippet of text (because the xcom text field for it is tiny) in their epitaph about what happened to them, depends on who nabbed them. Trying to branch out from just vorish bad ends too, but since only 2 have died so far, to grunts, not much cause for writing yet.
Pretty fun so far. Not lost too many people, but there’s more of a challenge and a lot more risk than my normal playthroughs. So we’ll see what happens once things get going and harder enemies are a norm. :o When I was doing biographies for the aliens, bunch of fun characters came from that too, haha
