When Jericho approached there was no obvious sign of disturbance from the outside of the building and very little security, but certainly no signs of another person. He sighed, thinking that this might be just an alarm malfunction after all. Regardless, he decided to enter the building. Practically he should at least check it out since was already there, but his more artistic mind had the idea of taking in some industrial features to inspire some new paintings.
Jericho entered as silently as possible, keeping the door behind him open for at least one quick exit, although he didn’t seem to need it at this point. A few steps in and he still wasn’t aware of anything yet, but thought he might as well find where that alarm disturbance came from. He took out a small device from his uniform and powered it on.
The device took a few seconds to begin working, but it was able to scan for high amounts of electronic activity. In a dark warehouse with more storage than currently active equipment the alarm should look stark in comparison on the radar. But to Jericho’s surprise just a bit further ahead there appeared to be a lot of unaccounted blips on the screen that appeared to be rapidly moving. The young hero hastily made his way to the next area of the warehouse, reading himself for confrontation.
