For a long long time, I hated Kicker is because of how annoying and antagonistic he is... But after watching after some of VibeSpidersStudios's essays about Superlink, I've come to regret my old hatred and appreciated Kicker's relationship with Misha is a lot more realistic than typical anime GFs simping for idiotic male anime protags for no good reason.

Let's be real here: Kicker is still a jerk but was a victim of his abusive father, who used his son an experiment, always putting him in danger, never felt guilty about any of it.

Dr Brian Jones is a genuinely evil piece of shit. If Kicker opened his heart up to Misha by telling her everything and how it all impacted him, she would have absolutely taking action and save him from his abusive father.

Day 227: Megatron (Transformers Energon)

This is Megatron! This is my Megatron from when I was a kid! When I first discovered transformers, my dad would walk me over to the local Hollywood video (aging myself there…) and I would rent transformers Energon DVDs! 4 episodes per disc, I watched through the first 12 or so, seeing how Megatron Resurrected from a show I never saw, but I remember how mean he was. That’s the word I used as a kid. He was Mean. And that’s a Great way to describe a good bad Megatron! Not bad as in low quality, bad as in evil. He’s good at being evil!

Kicker Jones sounds like an interesting, fun character on paper but instead got the reputation of one of the worst human characters in Transformers history. What the hell went wrong here?!
