Supports Underneath the Mistletoe

A/N: It's 5 AM and I remembered how much I want to share a shy and tender kiss with my favorite mercs. I'm sure many of you can relate, and will accept these headcanons despite their lateness. Thank you.

Medic:

*He probably didn't even notice it at first.

*It's a very typical holiday decoration, you know? Something that easy blends in with all the other Smissmas or New Years decor, easy to ignore or miss.

*He's probably just chattering away with you about stories from his past, his latest scientific breakthrough, something engaging that keeps you listening.

*You might not have even spotted it at first with how interesting conversation with him was, unless you were waiting for him/successfully lured him over.

*He's so lost in whatever he's talking about that it takes him a bit to notice that your eyes aren't on him. He follows your gaze upward, and then he smiles cheekily.

*"I see vhy you vent so quiet!"

*He's a good sport about it and will gladly kiss you no matter how much of the team is around, he couldn't give less of a damn about whoever was watching.

*Of course, if you back out he won't do anything outside of teasing you for it, but not much more.

*Just be prepared for that sloppy Smissmas/New Years kiss, he can and will wrap his arms around you and lift you up while he sucks the soul right out of your body. Consider it a gift, if you will.

Sniper:

*Is observant. Knows where it is at all times... But if he likes you, he'll meet you underneath it or let you lure him. Give you the impression that you pulled one over on ol' Mr. Mundy when in reality he just wants a pash.

*He pretends not to notice it for a while, he waits for you to point it out or give some sort of clue that you're aware that the mistletoe is there.

*If you're oblivious he'll try and get your attention to it somehow, or eventually point it out himself if you two have been under there long enough.

*If you do notice on your own though, he'll suddenly get shy... Suspiciously shy, even.

*"I-I mean really, who even puts these things up anyway?"

*Please gosh just give this big doof a kiss because if you shy away from it he won't push his luck and you'll go the rest of the night kissless and awkward. Just a lil smooch, pls?

*If you two keep dancing around it, the rest of the team might even gather around and try and make you guys kiss.

*Assuming he isn't underneath any pressure the kiss is longing, but quick. You can tell he wanted to hold it, but pulled away for the sake of brevity.

Spy:

*Of course he knows where the mistletoe is. He's been to enough of these parties to know which spots it gets set up in every year.

*Trust me, if he didn't want to kiss you then it's likely you wouldn't see him near you the entire party assuming you intended to lure him underneath it... But in this scenario he clearly wants to so you won't have to worry about that.

*He keeps an eye on where you are in relation to the mistletoe, and occasionally lingers around it to see if you'll hop on the opportunity to catch him under it.

*Once you two are finally united underneath it, he points it out rather quickly.

*"It seems we have been caught beneath the mistletoe."

*He gets smugger the more flustered you are, but he waits for you consent before he goes for it.

*The entire team stops what they're doing to look, and everyone seems shocked that Spy of all people would end up getting a kiss.

*It was slow and still, nothing very intense or showy, but something that left the bitter taste of wine on your lips after nonetheless.
