Oh hey hi! For the song thing, I've been listening to "Dead of Night" by Orville Peck and I think you'll be inspired by it.
First off I do love it and I was inspired!
Here’s an intro to some Star Wars ocs I’ve made!
Sassa walked through the headquarters of the resistance, nails digging into the palm of her hands.
‘Please’ Saigo whispered, ‘Sassa’
A tear slid down her cheek as she turned the corner. She wiped at it quickly, before approaching a group of women in uniform.
An older woman turned around.
“Captain Ambu. What’s your report?”
“Mission accomplished” she handed the woman a package.
Leia opened it and inspected its contents before nodding and giving it to one of her assistants.
“Kepai! You’re going the wrong way!” She yelled over the line, grunting as she tried to outrun a tie fighter.
“Just two...Illana and...Kepai” her jaw clenched.
Leia’s face fell slightly.
“We will honor them greatly.” She placed a hand on the younger woman’s shoulder.
“Go get some rest, alright?”
“Yes General Organa” Sassa bowed before turning and heading to her quarters.
She closed the door behind her, and sighed in relief when no one else seemed to be in there, before she laid down on her bed with a sigh, pressing her palms to her face.
Saigo had been pulling stunts over the past month that had always ended in him getting apprehended.
‘You idiot! You could’ve gotten us killed!’ Sassa had yelled at him again and again. He’d only smile in response.
She wiped her eyes furiously as tears started to flow freely.
‘Sassa’ he said. It hadn’t been over the headset, but in her mind. ‘Sassa listen to me...let me do this’
‘Listen to me. I can do this. But you have to let me.’
‘I don’t have time to explain. But I can get this thing done without us losing any more people’
“If you’re going to martyr yourself Kepai-“
“Saigo you get out of there now!”
“Get out of-“ she felt a blinding pain in her eye before the large battlefront lit up in a series explosions.
“Out! Out! Out!” She yelled through the headset at the rest of the squadron, before blindly reaching for hyper speed, debris barely missing her ship.
She stumbled out of her ship, head still in pain, and a growing ache in her chest.
Sobs ripped themselves from her as her body shook uncontrollably.
Soon she felt someone touch her shoulder tentatively.
She looked up, eyes rimmed red, to see a concerned Poe.
“I heard” he choked out, a little teary-eyed.
“He’s gone” she sniffled, “I can't believe it”
He brought her into a hug, and the two stood, crying into each other’s shoulders, mourning their loss.
Saigo woke up. Body protesting as he made to sit up and look around.
He was in a desert, surrounded by debris, nothing in sight.
He groaned and stood up, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths.
“I am one with the force, and the force is with me” he repeated.
After a few moments, he opened his eyes before turning. Feeling something guiding him, he took one step forward, then another, then another, until the pain had stopped and the only thing he could focus on was getting back.
