in your opinion, what do you think the monsters do with the Fools before leaving the town? do they eat/kill them all or left them and unhypnotized them all in random places?

I will preface this with a disclaimer: this is a headcanon, I have no knowledge about the Fools beyond what has been strictly presented in the game. I respect Neko immensely for his strict sense of story and pacing of details because there are plenty of things I don’t get to know even as a friend and moderator for the official account. Views stated on this (my personal) blog should always be taken as my own personal thoughts, ideas, theories and whatnot and are not inherently canon.
Okay! That out of the way, I’ve been theorizing that, when the circus moves, the Fools are either eaten or released from whatever hypnosis or soul-stealing curse that’s put on them while they’re acting as circus Fools. I say this mostly because that would be a LOT of people to transport and document (or forge documents for), and it would also be one hell of a legal mess to figure out how to cover up that many missing persons.
…though honestly now that I’ve typed that out, I suppose it would be even weirder for missing people to suddenly become un-missing conveniently around the time the circus moves somewhere else. Oh, now that’s a pickle! <XD
This is really where I hope we get to see more of Carol, since I imagine her character role will help us directly learn more of what’s going on (and why they are picked/given the pink ticket in the first place)
Going super indulgent though, because my self-insert is absolutely Doctor’s Fool, I like to think sometimes the Fools are taken with long-term like pets gbdjfndnn

So we know that the humans kept by the circus are referred to as Fools and Dolls. While those could be interchangeable terms, I think they're at least slightly different.
I think dolls are humans that the circus keeps and belong to specific members (shown by the marks on the mask-- Carol seeming to have been claimed by the Ticket Taker, and the other obviously being claimed by the doctor.)
I believe that Carol and the human handing you the agreement to sign are 'dolls'. Their outfits are slightly different from the fools we see handing out flyers. They have more black in their outfits as well as bows around their necks, rather than the necklace with the bells.
We do actually see Pierrot's doll/fool mask too! On the mc and the Coffee Karen.
And I think fools are more disposable and open season for being killed. Like the woman playing Columbina in the play Jester puts on. (Though I believe the reflection of the doctor talks about experimenting on dolls so they are not safe from being killed either lol)
Something that threw me off when I saw it was the mask of the fool representing Harlequin during Jester's performance. That mask is the same as Harlequin's, rather than the simplified fool mask.
But I think I figured it out. lol
I think all the masks worn by the fools in Jester's show are different from the typical fool's mask. We see the Doctors mask and ticket takers masks being more accurate to the actual members of the circus, rather than what the fools/dolls usually wear. Presumably just for the show.
Summary: after day 2 of the game you’re stuck with two obsessed clowns trailing behind you like dogs. They both want you badly to the point they would try killing others or each other just for praise
You woke up feeling a bit dizzy and lightheaded, yet again you had fell asleep with the tv as some kind of white noise to drown the thoughts of what was happening the last few days out. Your bed sheets still smelled of where Pierrot had laid on your chest before dragging you back to that freak show (ha ha get it?) taking a deep breath in of the covers of your blanket filled you with an unrecognizable feeling of warmth throughout your body like a warm hug or the feeling of protection. As much as you felt safer around Pierrot compared to the other people at the circus you were still a little skeptical around him not knowing if you could fully trust him yet, it felt that way with a lot of people recently with Carol mysteriously disappearing and somehow you thought you saw her dressed up at the circus? Nothing was making sense it was not wonder you trusted nothing not even yourself.
It was still early in the morning and you figured you might as well get up and get ready for work. You swung your legs over your bed as your feet found their way into your comfy pink bunny slippers. Not even a ray of sunshine casted a glow through your balcony door just from early it still was. You groaned not so silently regretting not going back to bed, you felt so tired and eepy. You were so tired that you didn’t even notice the glass door sliding open, eventually you felt a slight draft from the cold breeze.
“Awe…you getting all dolled up?” A familiar raspy voice woke you up fully. Your head snapped towards the figure now standing in your room closing the sliding door with one hand. Instead of a comforting red it was that poisonous green, an annoying green that liked pestering and being overly flirty with you.
You sighed a little more dramatically than you wanted but you wanted to give him a sign you weren’t in mood. He smirked and chuckled before making himself comfy in your bed. You turned away to continue doing your skin care. He kept chuckling as you went on with different products to keep your nice clear skin up to date.
“What’s so funny Quin?” You fed into his little game, into his little routine that he started by swinging by your place every now and then at random times.
“Oh nothing…just you using that snail goo to coat your face is so…interesting to me.” Harlequin made fun of you like he always did. You scoffed as he laughed louder before it died down and he patted at your bed.
“It’s still early. Come back to bed doll.” He seemed a bit more serious in his tone like that was the real him shining through. You turned once more in your chair to face him, god did it infuriate you when he just made himself at home without even asking, plus he was still in his costume that he worked in getting your bed all dirty also he had his shoes on! How rude!
“Fine…I’ll come back to bed just let me finish, also take off your shoe idiot!” Well it didn’t take much convincing to get you back to bed since you were exhausted as fuck. After finishing your skin care you crawled back to bed, your body gave out once the feeling of the soft fabric. A sigh of relief escaped your mouth, you cuddled up against him, he wrapped one arm around your waist, he thought he was so cool doing that like bud you are not nonchalant. Harlequin relaxed against your bed as well he never stayed for long but when he could he make sure he got everything he wanted out of it. He smelt you sheets and suddenly his demeanour changed.
“These reek of that stupid Pierrot! Ugh, I’ll have to leave my scent on these instead.” He groaned, his grip tightened on you but before you could even protest you feel right back to sleep. At this point you couldn’t care less whatever happens it’s just whatever, if these guys decided to sleep or rest in your bed whatever, if they followed you to your job whatever and if they fought over you it was just whatever. Everything was going to work out hopefully.

Pierrot
Pierrot absolutely loves MC's colored contacts. He loves how happy they make MC.
If MC's eyes get irritated from their contacts, Pierrot will make it a habit of carrying eyedrops on him.
He absolutely LOVES MC's colored contact collection. It's important to MC, which means it's important to him
When MC surprises Pierrot by wearing contacts that are themed after him ( black sclera with gold star pupils ), he thinks he's died and gone to heaven. Pierrot picks MC up and gives them a passionate kiss.
Pierrot would love to share a milkshake with MC so he can just stare into the black and gold colored contact eyes of his beloved.
Harlequin
Harlequin enjoys going shopping for colored contacts with MC. He will be BRUTALLY honest with MC about which contacts look good and which contacts don't look good.
Harlequin thinks the cat eye contacts look sexy as he'll.
As a gift, Harlequin would get MC some cat eye contacts that glow in the dark.
When Harlequin sees MC wearing colored contacts themed after him ( black sclera with green heart pupils ), he then corners MC inside his tent, tilts their head up to look him directly in the eyes, and starts teasing MC relentlessly.
Doctor
Harlequin gets all smug when anyone notices MC wearing the contacts themed after him.
The first time Doctor sees MC with colored contacts, he thinks MC is having an allergic reaction. He leads MC into his tent to examine them. Once MC explains that they are just wearing colored contacts, Doctor will then start asking a multitude of questions.
Doctor will also have eyedrops on him if MC's eyes get irritated from the colored contacts.
Doctor will do research on contacts to see if there are better contacts for MC to wear that don't irritate MC's eyes. If he can't find any, he will most likely try to make his own medical colored contacts.
When Doctor examines MC's eyes, he notices that they are themed after him ( no sclera, left eye: cyan with no pupil; right eye: red with no pupil; the contacts are like the eyes of his mask ), he let's out one of his signature chuckles. Doctor asks MC to stay a little longer. He wants to "observe" and "examine" their new contacts.
Ticket Taker
Evertime MC visits his tent Doctor will have colored contact cleaner ready just in case MC needs to wash their contacts.
As long as the colored contacts don't hurt/hinder MC, then Ticket Taker doesn't care. He doesn't see the appeal of colored contacts, but if MC likes them, then who is he to judge their style.
Ticket Taker will occasionally complement MC's colored contacts. He will tell MC how radiant they look.
Ticket Taker is also another member of the circus to keep eyedrops on them when the colored contacts irritate MC's eyes. He is a gentleman, after all.
When Ticket Taker sees that MC is wearing colored contacts themed after him ( left eye: blue sclera; white iris, black pupil; right eye: black sclera, blue raindrop pupil ), he cups one of MC's cheeks and complements them.
Jester
Another one who will have contact cleaner ready for MC.
Jester finds it amusing that humans try to make themselves look non-human with colored contacts. He will not tell anyone this, but he finds it amusing that MC shows him their colored contacts.
Jesters' favorite color of contacts are various shades of purple, pure black colored contacts, or contacts with specks of gold.
Thanks to MC, Jester has been thinking of using colored contacts on the Fools to enhance his performances.
When Jester sees that MC is wearing colored contacts themed after him ( black sclera with gold specks and purple pupils shaped like sparkles✨ ), with a shap smirk, he pulls MC onto his lap, grabs their chin, lifts MC's head up so he can look directly into their eyes, and look directly at their colored contacts.
Jester gets sadistic glee from watching MC struggle to get their contacts out.
Columbina
Columbina absolutely LOVES MC's colored contacts. She could stare at them for HOURS and never get bored.
She is also another member of the circus to carry around eyedrops in case MC's eyes get irritated.
Her favorite kind of colored contacts are pastels. She absolutely loves how soft, sweet, and cuddly they make MC look.
When MC surprises Columbina with their colored contacts themed after her ( no sclera, light pink colored contacts with white cloud pupils ), she lets out a high-pitched happy squeal, she tightly wraps her arms around MC, spinning around while hugging them, she then starts peppering kisses all over MC's face, and rubbing her cheek against MC's cheek.
She will also have contact cleaner ready as well.

There are times where being partially under his control have perks. For one, hunger isn't a concern and neither is sleep. There are times where it surges and we're barely able to think for ourselves.
When our head is throbbing, and we're mindlessly speaking to people while trying to fight back tears of pure agony. Then, of course, the downsides.
We can't fight back or speak, whether it comes to cruel people or at the hands of one of the circus members. The typical perpetrators are Harlequin and the Doctor. Suprised? Probably not.
Despite this, they aren't... mean. Usually just a harsh dismissal at our presence. More than once have we been in too close for comfort situations. Likely to be in more, avoid death with the lambs. Use them as bait for the bigger predators.
Don't immediately try to rush out, you WILL get caught. Let them replace you. Two new fools means one free conscious fool. Don't be stupid. Jester sees everything. Its easier to just play along then try to escape.
Oh, and try to stay as far away from Harlequin and his tent as possible without being noticed.
