ok so my biggest piece of work so far is this dd transformers crossover i've been working on for the better part of a year and a half
i have no idea why i haven't published anything for it yet, i barely mention it anywhere but i really do want to start publishing it, or at least cleaning it up so it's better. i just want to yap about it here for a bit, mostly to get the ideas i have right now out
the basic plot has changed a bit since i came up with the first idea, but it is going to be specifically based on transformers prime and some of the novels, just so i can have a (basically) clear continuity to chose from. also because soundwave from tfp is my favorite tf character of all time. this also leads to me saying that my two favorite characters have to meet and interact in some way.
basic plot before i get into some other shit:

i have my reasons and for what i want to do with the fic, like where i want it to go and stuff
i can do what i want
this one is my real reason lmao mostly for this fic i do want to write matt like how he keeps making the wrong choices and chosing the wrong things when he thinks they're right, only to make things worse. most of the marvel characters that i will be adding to this fic are also cybertronian, unless i specify otherwise, like with foggy, he's a normal human. this also means that he isn't going to be there when shit gets really bad on cybertron to make sure matt doesn't do some fuck ass shit. we alrealy know cybertron wasn't the best place to live (and that's puting it nicely) with the council and how corrupt their government was, along with the caste system, and you really think a mech that got blinded would be treated well? matt is already angry and fed up with how everything is with his father dying, stick, everything that happened with elektra, everything that lead him to going out in a mask to stop bad guys and save people. so we add even more trauma and stuff from cybertron and now whispers of a revolutionary group starting to make their presence known. like obviously megatron is going to start doing his fuck ass shit soon, but an aspect of megatron that i really like is how he did start all this with good intentions, only for himself to get corrupted by power and turing into the bad guy we all know. so when he starts making his speeches on how the current government of cybertron should be dismantled because of how corrupt it is, rather than trying to change the system from the inside. i also wanted to write this similar to how it was at the end of season 3 of the og series where matt goes to fisk's penthouse with the intention of killing him, but this time instead of sparing his life, everything that has been pilling on top of matt just comes crashing down and he thinks yeah maybe the only way to stop this corruption at this point is to dismantle it, which leads to matt making even more wrong decisions (he kills fisk) (uh oh! bad decision matt!). i hope i'm explaining this well. a lot of the fic is going to be based around matt coming to terms with his mistakes and how he has been indenial about them for so long, like i'll make another post about how he changes when he gets to earth and meets foggy.
i really just want dd and soundwave to interact, i think that would be really cool, the two assholes who can hear everything, i know they'd talk shit about everythone else together
the fic does start when matt gets to earth, joins up with the rest of the cons there, but megatron is in his old man coma from when he got blown up by the spacebridge. i also wanted to include more MECH in his because i kind of like the concept of them, humans that just want to tear cybertronians up for parts instead of working with them, and if they do, they're very likely to betray said cybertronian they're working with (ex. starscream). i also think they would be doing some illegal shit because they are dealing with alien parts and materials that they don't want anyone to find out about, which is how foggy gets involved because he accidentally finds out about the illegal stuff, which leads to him meeting matt (yay)
and while this is going to be a dd centric fic, i do want to include more marvel charactrs, add to the worldbuilding, like the avengers being on the autobots side; stark tower technically being an autobot base (so there will be more autobots in this fic beside those five in nevada); humans having interacted with cybertronians before, like that fresco that miko and bulkhead found in that one ep that lead to them finding the energon harvester; moon knight being the avatar of a god that is present both on earth and cybertron, stuff like that. which is also why this fic is sitting at a solid 53k when i am not even halfway through (oh god)
holy yap, ok i'm done for now, though i will be adding more, currently adding more, so i might publish the first chapter here soon while i get the details worked out for more of the fic
while i am bad at drawing mechs and transformers, i am even worse at drawing cars, and also picking specific types of cars for different transformers versions of characters
matt's alt-mode would be a car, like no shit, i am not putting that asshole in the air, but i do see him as some kind of fancy ass car, like a corvette or smth
do electric corvettes exist? bc i think it would be a good idea to make matt an electric car bc those things are silent as fuck, like they sometimes scare me on the road, make some damn noice please so i don't get hit. but for matt and his whole stealth thing i think an electric car would be a good idea
luke is some kind of armored truck, like i feel like that's obvious
lowkey just want to make jessica like some very common car, like a camry or a corolla or smth, like i don't think she'd get anything fancy or different looking for her alt-mode, just something that works
i was thinking about making danny a flier, but i'm not sure, he's probably be better as some kind of fancy ass car, like something some rich asshole would have, i do not know car types, can you tell?
what if i make elektra a seeker
would that be crazy or what

i started watching tfp at around the same time that i started watching ultimate spider-man and i think i want to make spidey turn into that bike that he got in that show
what if i give moon knight multiple alt-modes based on who's in control of the body? like in tfp, there are shifters, even tho we only saw makeshift for a singlular fucking episode, what if i make moon knight like that just so i can (at least try) to come up with different designs for marc, steven, and jake. they already have different suits in normal marvel canon based on who's in control, i will simply given them different vehicle modes as well
venom has the alt mode of whoever he's possessing at the moment, like when he's possessing spidey, got the bike alt-mode, he's still going to be a symbiote in my fic, just fucking up some of the canon so that symbiotes can possess cybertronians as well (don't worry about how it works)
this is for one of my aus that i've been working on for like the better part of a year now, and i have a lot written of an actual fic, just gotta get back to writing more and editing what i have
