TFP has a lot of great eps, but i’d definitely say that Chain of Command is my #2 top favourite episode (second only to Orion Pax Part III). i mean

what do I love about Screamy?? well ... WELL. it’s very superficial, not gunna lie lol. I think he’s hot, plain and simple. in pretty much all the TF ‘verses, including Armada. (I’m especially in love with his G1/AHM, TFA, and TFP bodies, hot damn.)

but I mean I love other things about him too. he’s smart, clever, ruthless, and deliciously evil. and he’s powerful. maybe it’s not really shown that way in all the ‘verses, but I mean he’s Megatron’s SIC for a damn good reason, so I basically see him as the best, most combat skilled, and most powerful ‘Con after Megatron, and naturally one of the strongest too. I love the Starscreams who are ... not exactly ‘equal’ to Megatron, but can sure as hell go toe-to-toe with him and hold their own. (It’s why I love TFA Starscream so much, and my biggest gripe towards Skinny McToothpick TFP Starscream.)

and I like him when he’s particularly ruthless and evil. like in TFP, those few times when we see him using his claws and ripping apart bots with his bare hands? my favourite Starscream moments. We need more of that, imo.

I also have a weird thing for his null rays (not in a dirty way omg), and proton [shoulder] canons from Armada. a null-ray-less Starscream is nothing to me lol.

to be totalyl honest, what I think I like most about him is actually his relationship with Megatron and what he means to Megatron. it’s such a fascinating relationship between them. he’s this backstabbing, conivving, annoying, sometimes downright stupid, untrustworthy little shithead, but Megatron can’t let go of him, because that is how good of a SIC and a soldier and a commander he is, that is how smart and clever he is; because he is that good. I love how/when Megatron hates him but also needs him. and he knows it. and so he gets away with lots of shit and continues to BE a shit lol

... I don’t think I did him justice here, really. admittedly my love for Screamy has dwindled since the end of TFP (I haven’t read Windblade yet, which I hope will renew that love). nevertheless, that is how I feel about him. my gorgeous evil little shit.

What's so great about tfp megatron (speaking as someone who's only watch a handful of episodes)

(I just found this, it’s probably weeks old, so sorry!!) (also it’s SUPER SPOILERY for someone like you who hasn’t seen much, beware!)

TFP Megs is amazing as shit because TFP Megs is:

extremely powerful and strong and kickass

dat gladiator backstory hnnngggg

not just a big dumb brute kinda villian. he’s smart and clever too

looks great in either red or purple

voiced by the voice acting god himself Mr. Frank Welker

have you ever heard Frank Welker doing his evil villian laugh for Megatron it is utter perfection GO watch the beginning of One Shall Rise Pt 1 rn

obviously Megatron rules using fear but there’s definitely a charismatic element to his leadership too

like my overwhelming lasting impression of TFP Megatron is what happens when he walks into a room. his presence commands respect. it’s not just his physical size or strength, it’s his entire self. when he walks into a room, you fucking pay attention. even as a fan merely watching this CGI warlord on a screen, I’m utterly transfixed.

let’s go back to his powerful strength. because I love it. he swats aside Insecticons like they’re, well, bugs. tiny bugs. Orion Pax Part 3, he was tossing the Autobots around like they were stuffed animals. Optimus is ready to end him via sword (One Shall Fall ep) and he’s like “nah just gunna grab your butterknife here.”

and my favourite of all HE PUNCHED A GIANT UNICRON STONEMAN IN THE FACE AND IT COMPLETELY CRUMBLED

he really gives no fucks, it’s great. Knock Out has a bomb? whatever. huge hoard of Insecticons attacking my ship? guess I’ll start shooting *yawn*. cool magical device that could restore my planet? it can wait I need to plant this fortress in the middl’a fuckin earthly nowhere

So how did you feel about Transformers Armada, if you saw it? Who's your favorite character?

storytime!! ok so funny story I discovered Armada by watching a random video that was actually the series’ biggest spoiler - it was Starscream dying. someone had posted a clip of just the scene where he’s stabbed by Megatron and they’re talking and then of course he “ACTIVATE PROTON CANONS” and Unicron fries him and yeah.

I watched that clip over and over and over, and I still do to this very day. it’s one of the most powerful scenes I’ve ever seen. it grips me, it gripped me way before I had even watched a minute of the show. it’s … the way he rips the sword out of his body and tosses it aside. it’s the way his face looks when yelling “IT’S TIME TO FINISH THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL.” it’s the visual and audial power of his proton canons firing. (that’s my favourite part, hands down.) it’s him screaming as Unicron disintegrates him. I don’t know why this scene grips me so much but ohmygod it really does.

and then of course I did go and watch the whole show and then had to watch that scene anew and it fuckin broke my heart :`)

TLDR; anyways errr to answer your actual questions lol … my fave was Starscream, obviously. he is basically the only reason I forced myself to watch all the episodes. because really? I hated the show. I hated the kids a lot, espcecially … Carlos, was it?? The english dubbing was terrible. Too many random grunts and noises that ruined the dialogue. (I watched Headmasters as an english dub, no problemo.) I didn’t really like any of the other characters, except for Hot Shot and sometimes Megatron. Optimus Prime was so unmemorable to me. Then there were the bots’ colour scheme changes, which I hated except for Starscream’s of course. Oh and Cyclonus drew me fucking nuts.So yeah. I watched it because of Starscream, and I only “like” it because of Starscream, and when people ask me if they should watch it or not, I tell them “only if you like Starscream” lol
