A BABY brushtail possum nicknamed Scratch has become one of the faces of the fight to save trees earmarked for removal for Sydney’s light rail line. No animals or birds were rescued or relocated from the 40 mature trees chopped down on Alison Rd and Anzac Pde at Randwick, according to Transport for NSW.

This is my Digital Portfolio based on my experience at Sydney Metro NSW (Transport for NSW) over the past 12 weeks. It captures the achievements, outputs and outcomes that I achieved throughout my internship. I’d like to thank Louise Howard for taking me under her wing and showing me the ropes of the Sydney Metro NSW Project.
Above are the very first ideas I had when told what was expected of me. I was given bits of information and facts from Kate the professional occupational hygienist and was told to be creative and do what I could with what I was given. After typing these up and spending a little while sketching in my notepad, I hit a block and my mind went blank.
This is an example of the type of Newsletters I worked on throughout my Internship. I assisted in copywriting and editing the Newsletter along with some employees who gave me some good tips on how to improve any of the work that was given to me.
This is another infographic I produced whilst working with Kate. This one was designed for use in toolbox talks and as an A2 Poster to be placed around worksites and offices, in an attempt to educate people on the seriousness of illness/disease compared to other types of deaths in the constructions industry. I’m very grateful that I was able to work on a project like this as it gave me the opportunity to learn about the tunnelling industry as well as the Advertising industry and how it’s used in a Government role.
