Hey Steph! I was wondering... If tfp really is fake, why did they bring it to theatres? I mean, you'd think they'd leave that for an actually good episode. What if they actually thought it was so good it was worthy of that?
Hey Nonny!
I presume to “go with the façade”, would be my thought. The episode looked so cheap so it’s not like they’re trying to make up for a lost budget or anything.
Honestly, I have no idea. Perhaps they knew people enjoyed the novelty of TAB in theatres and therefore knew people would go see it anyway. *shrugs* Ya got me.
remember amanda saying "if we pull this off, it's going to make television history." remember the face sue made. remember
Let's falsify this - please circulate this post!
Contrary to what @itsmarkgatissbitch’s anon indicated, I have been unable to find a *shred* of evidence to indicate that altered/non-final cuts are disallowed from being shown at BFI screenings to paying audience members without warning.
I will PayPal $5 of my own money to the first person who can prove me wrong by producing hard evidence from a solid source, ideally a BFI document.
Please reblog! If no one takes me up on this, I will raise the reward amount until I am satisfied that we’ve done a thorough search.
The screening was 90 min and the episode is scheduled for 94 min on Sunday
We’re going to make history, all in 4 minutes
uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
were there only two people at this screening
