d20 Lightsaber(s) [WIP]
Just a sample from a d20 Lightsaber project I am toying with, loosely inspired by The Force Unleashed and Knights of the Old Republic.
Lightsaber (Adegen) Cost: 3000 Credits. Damage: 2d8 (Postive Energy). Critical: 19-20 (x2). Size: Medium. Weight: 2 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Unbound Color: White. Adegen crystals are the basic Kyber crystals used by the Jedi order, found through out the galaxy in areas strong with the force. these crystals are found in abundance on the planet Ilum, a snow covered Ice world where the unbound white color of these Kyber Crystals blends in with the natural surroundings. When a Jedi is ready to build their first lightsaber typically the order will take them to Ilum where finding a crystal is considered the first step in proving one's self worthy to wield a lightsaber. Saberpike (Firkraan) Cost: 10000 Credits. Damage: 2d8 (Electricity) 10 Foot Reach. Critical: 19-20 (x2). Size: Large. Weight: 6 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: +1d4 Negative Energy Damage vs Robots, Shield Generators, Powered Vehicles and Power Armor. Unbound Color: Yellow or Blue. Firkraan Crystals are an oddly heavy form of Kyber Crystal found mostly on the planet of Rafa V. Lightsaber blades emitted by such a crystal crackle with a noticeable feeling of electricity and are particularly damaging to targets requiring generated power. Saberstaff (Katak) Cost: 21000 Credits. Damage: 2d8 (Negative Energy) / 2d8 (Negative Energy). Critical: 19-20 (x2). Size: Large. Weight: 4.5 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: When the Weilder scores a Critical Hit, the Wielder is healed for 1d8 points of damage. Unbound Color: Green. Katak Crystals are rare Kyber Crystals the source of which is unknown. Lightfoil (Lorrdian) Cost: 5000 Credits. Damage: 2d4 (Positive Energy). Critical: 18-20 (x2). Size: Medium. Weight: 1.5 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: Weilder gains +1 Natural Armor and +1 Deflection bonus to armor. Unbound Color: Violet. Lorrdian Crystals are Kyber Crystals from the Kanz System. These Crystals first saw use by the People of Lorrd during the Kanz Disturbance, and bestow a slight precognition against incoming attacks even to people not sensitive to the Force. Greatsaber (Rubat) Cost: 17250 Credits. Damage: 2d12 (Postive Energy) 10 Foot Reach. Critical: 18-20 (x3). Size: Huge. Weight: 6 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: Wielder Gains a +1 bonus to Attack rolls. Special: Medium creatures take a -2 penalty to attacks attempting to wield this weapon, Characters of small size or smaller may not wield this weapon. Unbound Color: Pale Yellow Rubat Crystals are Kyber Crystals from the planet Phemis. Rubat Crystals were the first Kyber Crystal discovered to be suitable for use in Lightsabers, but are incredibly dangerous and their use is restricted. Shoto (Ruusan) Cost: 3500 Credits. Damage: 2d6 (Positive Energy). Critical: 19-20 (x2). Size: Small, this weapon is considered light for purposes of determining Dual Wielding penalties. Weight: 1 lb. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: Wielder gains a +2 Bonus to their Wisdom Score and a +1 Misc Bonus on all Charisma based Skill Checks. Unbound Color: Pale Pink. Ruusan Crystals are Kyber Crystals from the planet Ruusan. Ruusan Crystals are said to be favored by Jedi Masters. Guard Tonfa (Sigil) Cost: 6000 Credits. Damage: 2d4 (Fire). Critical: 19-20 (x2). Size: Small, this weapon is considered light for purposes of determining Dual Wielding penalties. Weight: 2 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: After a critical hit, the target suffers 1 fire damage per round for 1d4 rounds. Special: The Wielder gains a +1 Defense bonus vs melee attacks. Unbound Color: Pale Orange. Sigil Crystals are Kyber Crystals only known to come from the Sigil System. They are prized among lightsaber combatants as they burn slightly hotter than regular lightsabers. Phase-Knife (Vexxtal) Cost: 4000 Credits. Damage: 1d8 (Acid). Critical: 20 (x2). Size: Tiny, this weapon is considered light for purposes of determining Dual Wielding penalties. Weight: ½ lb. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: On Hit, Target must succeed on a DC 4 Fortitude Save or they suffer 1 Acid damage per round for 1d4 rounds (does not stack once under this effect a target is immune to it for T B D ]. Unbound Color: Pink. Vexxtal Crystals are rare Kyber Crystals the source of which is unknown. Lightwhip (Bondar) Cost: 10000 Credits. Damage: 2d4 (Non-Lethal) 10 foot reach. Critical: 20 (Special). Size: Large. Weight: 3 lbs. Proficiency : Exotic Weapon [Lightsaber]. Special: On Critical hits, Target must succeed at a DC 12 Fortitude Save or be stunned for 1d4 Rounds. Special: Wielder recieves a +2 bonus on all Disarm and Trip attempts. Unbound Color: Gold. Bondar Crystals are special Kyber Crystals mined from Asteroids in the Alderaan system. Lightsabers using these crystals do no lasting damage and are used in training lightsaber combatants.
