They ain’t in Tokyo anymore.
Also I didn’t add Ayato, Noro, Tartara, and Yoshimura cuz I’m lazy and it was just their masks.

update: I do not actually know what i am doing
I found this colour palette. It’s called sugar hiccup, which explains the caption. I actually finished this at around eleven last night but decided to post it in the morning
Eto is really an interesting character to figure out. While she is a sadist who sees no problem with killing humans or even experimenting on her own father, she seems to have a softer side to her that you might miss at first
In chapter 78, when it's revealed that the aogiri in district 11 are only a diversion
Eto asks Tatara "how many have died" of the ghouls they left in district 11. She calls them comrades, and seems oddly somber (for her at least) when she's told that its probably 200.
"For the sake of those 200, let's do our best to kill" is not something a heartless person would say.
Eto has aligned herself with ghouls, and rejects humans, it seems. Human life doesn't mean anything to her, but ghouls do. Humans probably mean as much to her as animals.
This makes sense considering how she was raised in the 24th ward, the presumably only-ghoul ward. She never had to interact with humans in other ways than killing or eating them.
In contrast to Ayato, who is also working with Aogiri, but was raised among humans by a father who wanted to fit in with them. Ayato kills humans, but he has strong feelings about it. He's angry, he's probably slightly disgusted by himself, deep down he still hurts about his father and is taking it out on others.
But Eto. For Eto, killing humans is practically like stomping on ants.
Killing and hurting ghouls who are opposing her is not a problem, really, but she has feelings about it. Betrayal, maybe. Anger. Possibly even regret.
What she's done to Yoshimura is not the actions of an emotionless person. She actually acknowledged him, greeted him. This is possibly the first time she's met him that she can remember. It's interesting to wonder about what she's feeling in this instance. But considering how he ends up in a tank... he is probably considered 'opposing her'.
But even when he's floating in a tank, probably going to be used for experiments... Eto still rests a hand against it, like she's reaching out for him.
I hope Tokyo Ghoul comes out with a sequel or resumes soon. I need to see more to understand Eto's daddy issues better.
