Guys, I'm replaying tgaa to get some context for my Gregson essay and to remember the plot fully (I'm on the beginning of the 2 case of the first tgaa), but would you be interested in hearing my headcanons first? I just know that I'm gonna take my sweet time playing it and I'd love to finally draw something. I want to follow through with my promise of a proper Gregson essay, since he's one of my faves, but I don't want to disappear.
Come to think of it, I haven't drawn Iris for a long time. So here she is, making soap bubbles. Isn't she adorable :3

Fun fact: The moment she called Herlock her daddy broke me. I love this little 221B family too much! And in this moment my heart filled with so much happiness and love, I couldn't hold it and teared up a bit. Isn't it the best way to show that I have absolutely no life?
I'm in TGAAC2 case 2 and I've fucking solved the gas stealing riddle easy, all thanks to my dad being a little thief as a kid
Spoilers for the case below
Edited for further case details
So one day as a teenager, I found a disk in the gutter while walking with my dad. It was a blank disk the exact same size as a quarter. I was super confused and showed my dad. He said that it probably came from a metal box with holes cut into it (I think an electrical box or something) and that was just leftover. He said that whenever he would find one as a kid, he could use it in old soda machines because they couldnt tell the difference between real coins and fakes yet (this is the 1960s)
And I noticed the puddle under the meter in the picture of Shamspeare, and that the disk in the soap looked like it could be the size of a coin. The disk disappeared between getting it and going to court, so it must have been made of something that melts at low temperatures. He kept the soap outside to keep the disks solid, brought one in when he wanted heat, and the heat from the room would melt the disk and it would drip out the bottom of the meter. It's likely made of some waxy or oily material.
Now it comes down to, who poisoned him?
Edit: So I thought it wasnt ice because the disk was brown, but now I realize that the disk was made with Natsume's tea because the water pump outside was frozen over. Now there should be a second bar of soap outside with tea in it which they can thaw and test for the poison.
The poison must have come from the mysterious letter that we found a portion of in the room.
