The way they keep the characters on point with their reactions to what is happening. Khem breaks down crying. Jet breaks when the second twin leaves. Peem stays kind of stoic with little cracks here and there. And only really shows emotions with Khem, the one he feels save to do that. And then breaks fully when Khem is gone, because it's too much. And it all makes sense for the characters. There is no over dramatic out of character reaction for any of them. And that's brilliant writing, directing and acting.
