Thai Language Tip
Upon entering a thai restaurant you could say how many people are in your party. It is the Number followed by the word Kon. Kon means perons.
So for example if its three people in your party you'd say
"Sam Kon". That means 3 persons.
The numbers are as follows 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
nung, Song, Sam, Sii, Haa, Hok, Jet, Paet, Gao, Sip.

Yizz. Yesterday after watching Autumn Destiny, I've decided to continue learning Thai. Thai numbers first.. It was easy. Like what the author said, it was easy that's why Thai children were good in math. Then I've learned that when you are buying things in the market or any other place in Thailand, they doing some scam for foreign people. If you don't know how to read Thai or Arabic, you will pay double. Like for example, the banner has Thai or Arabic letters on the above part then you will see "FOREIGN - 250 BAHT". But the actual price was only 80 BAHT. It's not good, it was disappointing. You see it's hard to go to foreign countries without knowing even their language. But do you think I'm so excited that I'm desperate to learn their language? :)
Now I know how to say our telephone number in Thai. I even know how to count in Thai. Soon, neung, song, sam, see, har, hok, jet, baed, gao, sib, sib-et, sib-song, sib-sam, sib-see, sib-ha.. It means zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen.. :) While yee-sib-et means twenty one :) Neung-roi-sam means 103 :) Sam-pun-see-roi-yee-sib-sam means 3000 + 400 + 20 + 3 = or simply 3423 :) hahaha. I'm proud of myself. LOL
