okay so I know that thalia probably says to Zeus "Hear my words! I will never be your wepon!" and I like that, but the first time I watched it thought she said "Heed my words! I will never be your wepon!" and both are so interesting to me in diffrent ways

"Hear my words!" -> a desperate plea for her father to listen once, just once, to what she does and doesn't want. she will no longer be a trapped animal, she will no longer do what the gods demand.

"Heed my words!" -> a warning, to Zeus no less, to listen or there will be consequences. she may be a teenager but she will rain wrath on Zeus before fighting his war for him

I also feels like this changes what she said to percy (before striking him with lightning whoops) :

"Hear my words!" -> For the first time in several years, I am able to use my voice; Hear what I have to say! The gods lie!

"Heed my words!" -> You must listen to me. Do not be their pawns. learn from what I have to say! The gods lie!

This also changes Annabeth's vision of her with the golden fleece:

"Hear my words!" -> Annabeth, I am here! Hear me, Hear my words!

"Heed my words!" -> Annabeth, I am here! I will protect you, heed my words!

yes. the idea of "Hear me" (Reaching out for comfort) vs. "Heed me" (Warning her fellow child soilders) is devestating either way. for that to be her last words before she was struck down by Zeus- OH I'M GETTING PISSED OFF
