Hey besties, guess who just started her new year crying?
I've wanted to adopt a new dog for a while, so naturally I've been looking at a lot of shelter for dogs pages on instagram to see if I can find a new friend to bring home, but because I still live with my parents I have to talk to them about getting a new puppy. My dad is super reluctant to do so but sometimes I show them a few posts on Instagram to see what they think of. Obviously in order to really convince us to adopt the dogs sometimes these pages tell us a lot of sad stories about them and stuff, today I was moved by one of them and showed it to my dad, he then proceeded into the biggest rant ever, telling me that I gotta stop looking at these pages, otherwise I'm gonna bring home a new dog everytime I go outside, that I should be smarter anda bla bla bla and I was just utterly flabbergasted by this stupid speech lmao, this man got really mad thinking I'm gonna adopt a full damn shelter and I'm here like, I just want to adopt one singular dog dad, what the hell do you think I'm gonna do??? Smuggle 10 dogs into our shared home and stash them all in my bedroom????
Ok so it is officially confirmed, this pandemic has absolutely RUINED my social skills, my friend from years came over with her fiancée just to deliver me a package and we had a conversation for literal 10 minutes in wich I felt like I had only two brain cells left and when I came back inside I noticed my hands were sweaty so that was super fun
