Got an update for the sketch app on the tablet and went overboard with tormenting the guy. This thing has 54 layers.

Probably a good thing that 'Shadows of the Apt' doesn't really have a fandom on here, because I don't think Tumblr would be able to deal with the sheer amount of moral greyness that Thalric embodies. XD

Major Thalric of the Rekef loosing his sting.

 Been working my way through Shadows of the Apt and really enjoying the characters and setting. I don’t have a clear favourite but I’m enjoying Thalric’s development and thought depicting my image of him would be the most fun of the bunch. Whether that’s war paint or Wasp-kinden just have those stripes is up to you but I like to imagine they’re pigmented.

I have numerous doodles of the Spider girls and Tisamon, and Che, lying around though.

Do I have a fleshed out design for Thalric yet? No. Am I still drawing him? Yes.

Maybe I'll design his civilian clothes as well as his armor once my art tablet is fixed
