Thamnolia subuliformis
Whiteworm lichen
Look, there is debate about this lichen being its own species separate from T. vermicularis or if it is just a chemotype (subspecies that produces different secondary metabolite chemicals) of T. vermicularis, but I don't really care today. Today I just want you to see it and appreciate it in all its glory. You can differentiate T. sbuliformis by viewing its bright yellow UV reaction which differs from the non-reactivity of T. vermicularis, which is good enough for me.
