Just because someone kissed you and you liked it doesn't mean you're instantly in love with that person.

Just because you agree to go on a date with someone who literally just dropped a bomb on your entire mindset with said kiss (that you liked), doesn't mean you're in love with that person.

People date to see if something is there beyond the big explosion of chemical soup that just occurred for whatever reason.

Date does not equal relationship.

ONE more thing! Your can be plural. As in "trying to get YOUR attention has been exhausting" could have meant Tommy AND Eddie because Buck was feeling left out and Tommy misinterpreted it and Buck just went with it.
