Tharntype got me like 😢😭❤

No other BL will ever make me feel the way Tharntype has made me feel. I cried, I laughed, I got angry, I was happy, I bawled, I loved it. The acting is superb, the story is amazing, the characters are endearing, and the ones that aren't are so complex you can't bring yourself to fully hate them, even if they deserve it. I am so sad this series is ending, and I really hope the actors get to feature in another show together again, I will never get over their chemistry.

How do I prepare to say goodbye to this drama? For me, while the sex scenes were definitely great, that's not what drew me to this drama. I know originally there was a lot of backlash regarding the storyline before it came out (and during the first few episodes). I know some people still have issues with it and have ruled it out completely. That being said, the real draw to this story (for me and other fans) was the chemistry of the leads and the deep love despite obstacles. I really did anticipate every episode. I wrung my hands, got frustrated with, and cried with the characters. I am ready to see a "happy ending" for my two loves, but I am saddened to know that I will no longer have my weekly peek into their engaging & enraging relationship. A lot of cute dramas stay with you in the moment, but years later you only vaguely remember the plot. Others stick with you as they are cemented in your heart. I feel that, for me, this will be the latter case.

Every night before to sleep I watch a few clips where Tharn and Type are together... It's like a needed to end my shitty day better 😂🙈

Did anyone else feel a little bad for Lhong??? 

But also really uncomfortable for feeling that way?  😵 😵 😵

Lhong is definitely some kind of sociopathic narcissist. He believes he’s the only one who “deserves” Tharn and has done really terrible things to keep other people away, but when he realized how much he’d hurt Tharn, he looked broken. He didn’t have malicious intent for the sake of hurting someone else; it’s simply the collateral damage from the insane things he would do to keep Tharn “safe” and to himself. Nothing was off-limits because the end justified the means. He had an underaged student gang-r*ped for f*cks sake. I don’t even have words… Yet in his mind, it was all well-intentioned and he was so desperate for love.

I haven’t seen the Lhong Special yet and I don’t know his backstory but it’s a huge credit to Kaownah who portrayed Lhong with such depth. He didn’t seem like a one-dimensional bad guy, as is very common in BL. 

Maybe knowing his story will change my mind or make me sympathize with him more, but I don’t want to…???
