Idk why.
I probably owe my soul to something now.
But I salvaged the codebase.
#the game corrupted and I had to spend about half a week digging through the files to see what still works and redoing everything that died#by and large all the massive scripts are somehow fine#there was a central registry for making everything talk to the various tools I wrote to streamline common interactions#that died#Also a couple classes that handled vital things like defining items as objects or inventory management died#but overall? once I knew what had to get replaced I fixed it in a couple hours
