I occasionally think I should have a blog titled Life with a Long Scarf, where I go through Glasgow wearing a 14ft long stripey scarf, and try not to get it tangled in things, stuck in train doors, drag it along the ground, stepped on by other people, and all the other mishaps you can imagine. The Fourth Doctor makes this looks effortless. It is not.

I acquired it in December, in the darkest depths of winter, because it made me happy. It still does; I wear it anywhere that isn't the barn.

How it started/how it ended. Mom wanted to make this scarf about 10 years ago, I sourced all the yarn, but her skills were already in decline (she also made me an awesome green and gray scarf which I'll tag as Lighting War cosplay if I ever wear again). So I made it.
