When Agent Rebecca Smit found out her daughter was living in an abandoned factory outside of Wayhaven, she called in a couple of favours at the Agency to get one of their prefabricated buildings set up.
She couldn't quite explain why, now she thought about it, she hadn't spoken to her daughter in over two years. She didn't know what to say about the fact that Janie had apparently been married and divorced in that time, and changed her surname. Given up on policework, on following in her father's footsteps. Taken up beekeeping. She even somehow owned the land she was living on, said it was one of her 'end of wedding' presents?
Perhaps it was the rightful punishment for how little Rebecca had been around in Janie's youth. The very least she could do is help her live in better comfort now.
And Janie welcomed the offer! She's comfortable enough living in the willows that grow along the river that the old mill was originally built along. But she had somewhat forgotten about all the comforts and luxuries that human civilisation. Washing machines and ovens and fridges- she'd done without them ever since she left the city with Piletræet.
And now she has somewhere she can serve tea for her mother when she drops by! She never meant to worry her. She knows how much Rebecca is trying her best.
I love Aemond being reckless stupid arrogant and so full of hubris that he thinks he can play extra sadistic middle school bully with no consequences actually. rip to all of you but I'm different
now of course i adore all the yellowjackets girlies but i have to admit i'm also fascinated by travis??? like for some reason* the girls eating each other seems pretty normal to me but the fact that travis was also (presumably) part of it is very 👀👀 to me. i wanna study him so bad.
*the inherent cannibalistic nature of teen girl friendships
trying to grapple with the celebrity status of the avengers is truly one of the most fun things to think about
One of my favorite things about Kid Icarus Uprising is that the gods other immortals are all like, super chill with eachother and can just have amicable conversations are share puns with their mortal enemies, because for them it really is a game. Like, not just in the forth wall breaking sense, but I get the feeling that even though they do have certain things that they take seriously, nothing can seem too important when everything around you is so temporary, which I feel is actually a pretty realistic attitude for gods. But at the same time, throughout the game we see humans get fucked up. What’s a game for gods has absolutely real stakes and consequences for the people who live on the world. That first town that they underworld forces are totally destroying? Tons of people died. That time they were having a war over a wish that wasn’t even real and then Viridi dropped a bomb on them and wiped them all out? whew boy. That time that Pit wasn’t in control of his body for three years and it went around massacring people? That shit’s kinda fucked up guy and it’s why I think that it’s the reason that the way that the game’s written works.
Oh when you guys said ao3 was down you meant down down
