Hello Everybody

I'm updating this intro post again because it's been a while, let's go–

Hello, I'm compressedrage, Rage for short! I'm an adult, and my pronouns are she/her (but vibes-wise I'm just a little guy).

This blog is a mixing pot of a bunch of my interests, old and new. The big ones that I will talk about here are:

Animator vs Animation, Animation vs Minecraft, and all the stick figure stuff made by Alan Becker.

Sonic the Hedgehog.

Hermitcraft. I'm watching Grian, Mumbo, Scar, and Tango this season. I'm also a big fan of the Life Series.

TMNT, mostly 2012 and ROTTMNT.

Transformers.

Minecraft args. I'm using this as a blanket term for a specific genre of Youtube series. A few examples would be the Collinlock continuity by Oneshef, or Searching For A World That Doesn't Exist by Wifies.

Project Hail Mary. Both the movie and the book.

Other ones that I post about a little less are:

It's my cat's birthday (anniversary of me getting him) so I told him the story of his life while petting him real good

Highlights include:

For your first two years (when you were small) you lived in a foster home with people who raised you into a very polite young man. Two is like you plus me, that's what two is.

Some people adopted you before me and they called you Timmy (which is a stupid name) and they returned your ass almost immediately because you were so annoying at that age.

Like think about how annoying you are right now at seven years old, but way worse.

I'm better than them though, I don't call you Timmy and I wore earplugs to bed for three years because you love to scream at bedtime. Earplugs are like when I roll over and go back to sleep even when you are yelling so so so loud.

I got you at a time in my life when I was really sick (being sick is like when I'm up late because I'm throwing up and you are a very handsome good boy who sits with me) and they had to put me asleep for a procedure. A procedure is like what happened to you when they put you asleep and took your balls away.

Now you've lived with me for five years. Five is like the number of toe beans on one of your feet. When I clip your nails five is when we're halfway done. But we're hopefully not even halfway done with how long we get to be together. I'm gonna have to figure out new ways to help you count.

Actually I've decided this is a poem

phm au where erid was able to solve their petrova line problem and sent out other ships to other systems to try saving those stars, since if microscopic life could evolve around 40 eridani a and tau ceti, who's to say there's not life elsewhere, too? then they reach the sol system and realize there's intelligent life in the form of humanity. the main plotline is split down the middle between:

political intrigue with stratt and what would have been the petrova task force as at least one member of the earth-erid diplomatic meeting goes missing. figuring out where they went, how they disappeared, and who would have something to gain from removing them from the equation. that kind of thing

grace and rocky (rocky for sure being a missing member of the eridian envoy, possibly grace on the human side of the meetings depending on how you wanna play it. he could just get roped into this also) getting banned from their third denny's, fourth applebee's, and second speedway in one day on a cannonball run to the diplomatic negotiations to get rocky back somewhere people know where they are

silver deciding he doesn't want to talk to someone anymore so he picks them up with his psychokinesis and deposits them as far away as he can. unfortunately some people (sonic) refuse to take the hint and keep coming back

I'm back in the stupid desert again, but instead of rewatching Grian's pov like I usually do I'm gonna strike out and watch Martyn's pov for the first time. Wish me luck chat, the brainworms are consuming me once more.

I actually want to thank the diabetics coming on this post like "actually it genuinely is a great treatment for diabetes and it hasn't affected my mood or my enjoyment of food. The real issue is it's getting abused as a weight loss drug which also makes it scarce and more expensive for those who can genuinely benefit from it." Kind of reminds me of the time my brother got permission from our family psychiatrist to try my ADHD medication and his reaction to it was "what the fuck are you on. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON. WHY DO I FEEL LIKE CRYING. YOU'RE ON THIS EVERY DAY!?!"

Body chemistry! It makes a big difference in how your body processes a drug! What can be genuinely helpful for some folks is The Curse of the Black Pearl for others!
