Little Valentina bear, one of my favourites of all the bears I ever made:) ♡ Valentina had indeed a special little place in my heart. Her pattern was made by myself, after hours and hours of experimentation, failures and frustration, but even after that umpteenth leg design I decided to discard because it wasn't "the one" for Valentina, I kept enjoying the process, and especially, the learning experience. When working on a new pattern, I try to be as patient with myself as I can because making bears is ART and I know there is still a whole universe for me to learn, try and experience. And I find such a huge, childlike joy in that experimenting; the making of little ears, arms and stitching on noses and then meeting those little beings coming to life under my fingers...and I'm so inmensely thankful I can do this, what I truly love, following my heart and dreams, day by day - THANKS TO YOU.
