*It was a quiet morning in camp Half-blood. Rio went to the stables to collect Lorelei for her morning ride. Teal jacket slung over her shoulder, leggings, and her CHB shirt thrown on half-asleep.*

*However, what she saw was.. not what she expected. 3 tiny horse foals, made of water, were laying there next to her horse, Lorelei grooming one of them.*

I finally drew Melissa!!!

For those who don't remember/don't know, Melissa is Rio's mom.

This photo was taken around a year before Rio was born, and by Poseidon. I wasn't really exact with where they were, but imma say they're at the Cistern from the TOA books. (Maybe Meg's dad was a family friend or somethin?)

sometimes Rio's southern accent comes out (she was born in Florida but covers it up cause it reminds her of her mom and stuff) but when shes mad sometimes you'll hear just "GODS DAMNIT!!" from across whatever in a thick southern accent. Her mom also had one. This is why Rio and Will Solace are friends :)
