God, I wish I could draw. I have been struck with a grand idea but no way to create it. Thaylens laying their eyebrow like we lay our edges. Better yet, make them bald! Thaylen brows are long. I’m sure they could make some cool patterns with it. IMAGINE THE SWIRLS AND DESIGNS THEY COULD MAKE! I can see it so vividly in my mind, and yet my gift of art trends towards writing.

One of my big illustrations for Shattered Plains project needed a detour, to explore inhabitants of warcamps.  Those aren’t any particular characters, just npcs of higher and lower class, along with a travelling thaylen merchant.  I approached also the parshmen, but didn’t quite fit into the stylised style I’m going for, so they were scrapped. I’ll draw them again, better.
