Stuffed to the gills with faux flora, is another shop in my retail district now complete. It’s across the landing from the candle shop. I assume the shop owners get along, though I imagine their outlooks must be vastly different with one’s life’s work centering on things that will remain unchanged and likely outlive them and the other’s centering on something in a state of perpetual transmutation throughout its ephemeral life.

The maisonette, part 1, first level. The last unit of the retail district. There was some leftover square footage after the parking garage was built, so they decided to zone it for residential occupancy. As a result, the quarters are oddly shaped, long, and close to narrow, but the tenant made it work.
