A Payer To Christ to Give Thanks for the Assumption of His Blessed Mother

Lord Jesus, blessed Savior, King of the Universe, Holy and Immortal, Son of God born of a human woman, we come before You in reverence, celebrating Your Divine Love that enveloped Mary in her Assumption. When Your Mother, full of grace and free of sin despite the temptations throughout her life, was taken in body and soul to sit at Your feet in Heaven, You rejoiced to have her near, embracing her and planting kisses on her holy face at Your reuniting. Now, she lays for us an example of how to best live a life pleasing to you, for which we are forever blessed.
We know, Christ Jesus, that in the land of Glory where You reign, Mary sits, clothed with the sun and crowned with stars, leader of the joy and gladness of all the angels and the saints, and that in her gentle embrace, we find peace and hope. She who bore the Christ in her womb, who was raised body and soul in glory to be with You in Heaven, serve as an example for us all, that we may join in her hymn of endless love and adoration
Christ, Beloved, as we kneel, honoring the Eternal Glory of Mary, lift our hearts and our spirits. As we humbly work to reach the same grace as the Queen of Heaven, our guiding star, may her purity illuminate our paths, dispelling darkness and doubt. Grant us the strength to follow her example of faith and compassion.
Mary, we know that your gaze, which on Earth bitterly watched the suffering of Jesus’ passion, now in Heaven is filled with the vision of humanity glorified and the beauty of the Trinity. Holy Mary, mother of God, at your Assumption, you beheld the Face of your Son; from the shadows of this, our ever flowing vale of tears, pray that we may come to see Him too, loving Jesus with our whole heart and soul now and forever.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, we pray beside you with the praise of Jesus ever on our lips-- guard us and guide us always!
