S3E8: The Beeps

In a flashback, Suzanne blows her own car up. The client reveals to Jason that he has set up explosives in the meteor cave to release the poison gas when someone notices their beeping. Hayley spends time with Carter and begins hearing the beeps. Suzanne gives Ryan Enzo’s letter of resignation. Sophie and Parker find out about his quitting and alert Max to the missing magnetite. The four agree to never tell anyone. Hayley overhears Brooke and Leo talking and realizes the beeping is the same as what was coming from the cave when it was hooked up to the time bomb. Leo, Brooke, and Hayley find a secret office in Jason’s old room. Daniel sees Leo and Hayley alone and gets jealous, but she saves face and shows him the office. They decide to meet after breakfast the next day to investigate the cave. Daniel and Leo head down to the cave, but Daniel gets a call from Coach and has to go to practice. Hayley takes Daniel’s place and goes into the cave with Leo (Jason protests from the client’s lair). The client sets off the heating device for the magnetite and Hayley and Leo wait for Brooke to reopen the door. However, Ryan unexpectedly returns to the apartment and Brooke is delayed in opening the door. Leo and Hayley realize there are bombs everywhere, then Brooke is able to open the door but Hayley steps on the bomb trigger as she leaves. Daniel leaves practice. Leo and Hayley make up as they struggle in the cave. Suzanne locks Brooke and Daniel in the secret office. Leo runs out of the cave and Hayley promises to follow behind him, but she’s caught in the crumbling doorway. Leo, lying outside the cave after being knocked down by the explosion, has black veins like the scientists that died in front of Marcus from the magnetite’s poison gas.

i have accidentally engaged myself in psychological warfare. Since I'm thinking of getting into HAM radio, I figure "hey I should probably start learning Morse Code". This is a perfectly logical thing to do. In furtherance of this, I've been watching some videos on morse code. Again, not something you would think has consequences.

Unfortunately my brain really likes auditory stuff. Songs get stuck in my head easily, especially little snippets. WELL it turns out it also really likes morse code. I now have a bunch of dits and dahs running through my head. The problem, dear reader, is that I DO NOT KNOW MORSE CODE YET. So my brain is going "...____..__ .____...._ .._... ___..." it's BABY TALKING IN MORSE CODE THAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND
