Alright guys I think I did okay on this one 🤔 better than the other shit I’ve been drawing lately anyways…
Peter Green, subject of this sketch, was the replacement for Eric Clapton (boo him 👎) when he left the Bluesbreakers. Green later left himself to found Fleetwood Mac! That’s way before Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham joined the band btw… and they started out as a blues band.
While he was in the Bluesbreakers, people spread the word by way of mouth and of graffiti: “Green is better than God”, championing him as better than Clapton himself… heh… a fact I won’t be shutting up about any time soon.
There’s way more to his story, of course (some batshit insane stuff too) but let’s leave it here for now. Pour one out for one of my favorite guitarists, singers, musicians, whatever—
