There's something about Charlie not needing to share a bed with frank but doing it anyway - needing it in fact - that just gets to me. Like there is a whole other room they could use that Charlie is adamant about not using. With everything with uncle Jack, knowing he would sneak in to his bedroom at night. Like he wants to stay with Frank because he actually feels safe at night with frank. And the fact that all of this comes after the season where Charlie meets his father, frank is unsure how he fits into Charlie's life, and then Charlie has that emotional breakdown about his dad never being there when frank - his pseudo father - is always there for him. Idk man, something about it is just so compelling
