suddenly, everyone around me disappears, like the rapture has come
when your ancient vamp daddy maker fell asleep on your lap and is purring like a little kitten

an obligatory redraw of this meme again cause what can i do if it suits perfectly
this is how the conversation went right?
(based on this:)
“After we met in 1973, I kept an eye on you... In 1990...”
Yeah, nothing suspicious about skipping the entire '70s and '80s 🤣🤫
Until proven otherwise, I 100% think Armand and Daniel's bond is the way it is because of two things:
1. The fact that the blood exchanges between them during their past love affair helped to seed it, and like any seed, it just grew over time to the full bloom it is at now, long before Daniel was turned, and
2. Armand's status as one of the most skilled Mind Gift users among vampires on the planet. I think a part of it is a manifestation of Armand's will and desire to be alone with Daniel. To be with him alone, and no one else in the world. And on Daniel's end of it, that is what Armand became for him in the books during their romance, which was Daniel's whole world.
I don't care if they both think it's fucked, I think it's beautiful. 😭
And yes, I think Armand was feeling that strong bond, and how it works between them, during everything in Dubai as well...
The camera zooming into Rolin laughing at this part specifically during the DM line read 👀 Which, apparently, is exactly Rolin's type of humor:
Throughout S1-3, to quote Snequanimity:
"Armand, we are constantly told, was a catamite. He's a twink bottom. He was a limp, passive ragdoll for sale. His daddy groomed him into a little bitch. He's emasculated, a beige pillow, his sexual performance is so-so, he's desperate and needy, he's a pussy and a betaboi. In short, he's too gay, not Lestat's ideal of a masculine bisexual man. like this is some kind of corruption of character, being the receptive partner in anal sex"
Recently, ONE journalist has FINALLY commented on this
and that's because the journalist himself is a gay Indian man:
