can salamander's actor just photodump every louis-armand-claudia-nicki bts photo he still has on his phone already so i can go right back to blocking/ignoring him ...
right. i want out. i want out
"you just hate it because the 2-year-wait built up your expectations that could never be met"
no i hate it bc i recognize bad tv. hope that helps
ok if we wanna get fucking pedantic with it Armand didn't consent to seeing Lestat's hog on that bus. is anyone gonna call that sexual harassment or is it only Armand who gets called a predator here
Some would say that Armand is an Omega but I think he would be a Beta that desperately wants to be an Omega, it fits his character I feel.
Louis is an Omega who is performing Alpha-ness and Loumand is Omega x Beta.
Lestat is also a Beta but he really really wants to be an Alpha.
Daniel is an Alpha but he takes suppressants and pretends to be a Beta. I am correct do not argue with me!
Armand would (fake) baby trap Daniel by pretending to be an Omega (he isn't), then pretending to get pregnant (he can't) and then pretending to have a miscarriage. Daniel the dead beat denies that it's his baby because he's also pretending to be a Beta (he isn't), and he can't get Omegas pregnant (he can (but he actually can't because Armand is a fake Omega))
I love human AU where Armand is still like that bcs it makes you wonder did 500 years of trauma get condensed into 28 years or was Armand just born like that
If you’d rather take your anger out on a brown actor doing his job who's already targeted with racist vitriol on the internet than blaming the white writers responsible I think you should go to hell
lestat would NEVER kill paul are you crazy? you're literally so evil for even wondering about that. crossing an ocean to lynch louis and claudia on the other hand,
we’ve officially reached the stage where there are now louis pimping out lestat fics 🫠
“We didn’t get the last episode script until quite far into the shoot, so none of us knew what was going to happen in the final episode,” Zaman said. “Rolin [Jones, executive producer] just kept telling me, ‘Just be prepared, be prepared. Just make sure you’re prepared.’ I was like, ‘I don’t know what that means.’ And then I was like, ‘Ah, OK. I need to get down and get learning because there’s a lot to learn.’ He talks a lot in this episode, but I think it’s all stuff that has been brewing for six episodes. It’s a little play-within-a-play situation. It was lots of fun acting with Headless Louis.”
Bro what??? How are your actors not at least apprised of what's coming??? Why did they spend months in that Writer's mansion in LA if they couldn't even give them the full scripts ahead of time??? Rolin Jones, dude WTF
Full interview here:
What Assad Zaman and Eric Bogosian hope to explore with Armand and Daniel in 'Interview With the Vampire' Season 4.
I'm kicking a dead horse at this point, but let's sum up again, hm. Lestat's clearly abusive behaviours/actions towards Louis:
Turning Louis at his most vulnerable. expecting Louis to be forever grateful for it.
cheating on him cause Louis didn't want to have sex with him
cheating on him cause Louis was depressed and that was actually very helpful to him
killing the only person Louis talked to
yelling at him that he shouldn't leave him
keeping information from Louis that would be essential to his survival if he ever left Lestat (using his gifts, the coven and the strict laws, the ancients...)
laughing at Louis when he asked him if he was enough (but of course we gotta validate Lestat's feelings)
Threatening their daughter
dragging Louis from the jaw and dropping him from the freaking sky and making it about how Louis couldn't tell him he loved him
his "apology" included gifts and how he doesn't like to be abandoned, so whose fault is it really
making an entire song about how awful Louis is that he dared to make Lestat a bad guy in the book
crossing the ocean to go punish Louis for killing/leaving him. and according to Rolin he actually went there to punish him, so wtf.
Calling him/openly seeing him as: insane person, ungrateful, cancerous jackall, a whore, pimp (derogatory), selfish
Being dismissive whenever Louis talks about race. saying and doing various racist things himself.
added 1: Louis goes to Lestat only when he's at his lowest (even Rolin said something had to happen to Louis so he'd go back to Lestat). that's not Lestat's fault (ehhh), but it doesn't seem like a good thing, does it?
added 2: Louis keeps asking for his help and Lestat makes sure Louis feels awful about it and that he should absolutely be grateful that Lestat dropped rehearsal (*gasps in horror*) to help Louis who was grieving the daughter Lestat helped killed, cause Louis didn't check on Lestat after he got shot, which could not even injure him for more than a couple of minutes.
and whilst s1 and s2 were (mostly) framed as Lestat loving Louis but also hurting him, s3 is framed as Lestat claiming he loves Louis, whilst he seems like he doesn't even like him (you can't like a person and treat them like that, even in the evil vampire show lol) and all of these behaviours were normal, something that Louis not only deserved but Louis has to apologise for. frame it as Lestat's POV. Show it to us as how abusers see their victims. the audience keeps watching each episode expecting to finally finally see it as it is, but Rolin & Hannah said "actually only the people of colour in this show are to blame for everything wrong that ever happened, including the actions of white people". dead serious.
how is this okay with anyone?
DM nation crew
and if there isn't an afterlife, I'm still gonna find a way
she was loved and in love
im challenging myself to draw way faster and use big brushes to practice focusing on the structure and light instead of relying so much on detail brushes when I do portraits and it was fun
+ claudia close up for the heart eyessss <3
when rolin jones has so little faith in his audience’s intelligence that he tried to gaslight us into believing loumand never loved each other instead of just writing a compelling loustat storyline in tvl because apparently loving multiple people over the course of your lifetime is impossible
