First, both were known as a criminal duo who followed "fists" (Gapryong), they eventually entered into the militar service and met Manager Kim who disciplined them, they decided to follow Manager Kim everywhere.

Due to them entering into the militar world they also befriended Seong Hansoo, Logan, and Dabin's dad.

Their daughters know Hansoo as "uncle Hansoo".
