'The mighty Crucible Knights of Zenithar, who are just as terrifying on foot as they are on horseback, command fearsome forge magic. It's possible that their battle tactics as foot soldiers inspired Magus-Captain Avexus' use of Zenithar's hammer-and-anvil.'
-- Mina Artacien, Primate of Zenithar, describing the Knights of Zenithar's Crucible.
In honor of the romantic confession we got. I'm soft and in love and I want more Divines content.

Married Life with Daz
he's actually so deeply in love, it makes him look stupid
after he set you up as his spouse, now deity by marriage, it meant you were no longer trapped by the constraints of mortality so he could have you at his side for eternity
when he proposed, he was lowkey taken aback in panic at when you started to cry tears of joy and panicked internally at first when he thought he fucked up
... until you jumped into his arms and peppered him in kisses and repeating "yes" over and over
he infused a crystal with his storm and it sit very pretty on your neck(he also probably uses gold), when he's close, it gets all warm and you always hear the rumble of thunder from it
still happy to create storms, especially alongside you now as his spouse cheering as he created beautiful patterns of rain and thunder and lightning
oh, Rex was definitely pissed to hear Daz revealed himself to a mortal and broke the rules but he couldn't do shit about it after you'd married his brother
your new husband was all to happy to rub in his elder brother's face that he not only scored a "cute little spouse" for himself but also that marrying him made you divinity
(also made jabs about Rex's history with marriage)
therefore made you not easily cowed and essentially physically untouchable to him now, especially as you were under Daz's wing and not his
despite that though, Daz is protective of you and makes sure you weren't alone with his eldest brother or was privy to the trickery he was capable of
he so blatantly adored you, that you were basically dripping in luxuries by the end of your honeymoon
probably a little surprised you continued to worship him even though you were also divinity but learns it's just you do it because now he's your husband
the rest of his brothers were genuinely pretty shocked to find out he'd married, though they weren't as surprised to learn he broke Rex's rules to do so
Nix thought his brother would never commit nor find someone to put up with his insufferable ego, he does try to flirt with toy as a test but you rebuffed him so fast that he figured that you were also deeply committed and stupidly in love
Bek and Vox are just happy he found someone, though the latter was mostly unconvinced and tried to see of you were really there willingly
Vox; "blink twice if you need help", Daz; >:v "hey!!"
Kel and Leo are... pretty apathetic? Leo is definitely pretty curious about how your biology changed note that you were no longer mortal but it doesn't go pay small tests or light querying
Daz's domain becomes your's as well and eventually things catered to your tastes start to pop up, lay outs and furniture
... he also quite literally gets... pretty zap-happy whenever someone comes in thinking they could possibly take you from him (he'd be wayy more offended if it was a mortal tbh)
he rebuffs any advances from anyone else as well, knowing full well what he signed up for when he'd married you (he also knew you could be pretty damn scary and he simply doesn't want the proverbial smoke)
you still don your stormchaser robes but they were somewhat changed to something that better fit your new celestial markings
if your eyes and markings glow in use of your abilities, he will fawn over how dangerously gorgeous you are
you now also have the rights to playing with his hair
The aedra’s fav videogames with little to no explanation:
Aedra are more enigmatic than the daedric princes so this is a bit more subjective 🌙✨💫
Akatosh plays the Spyro trilogy, and if anybody questions it or teases him he goes into a long winded explanation about how actually the Spyro series is so deep and teaches players about resilience in the face of adversity and blah blah blah
You wouldn’t expect Arkay to care for videogames, but he’s actually an avid Resident Evil fan.
Dibella plays app games like Love Nikki Dress Up Queen and Time Princess: Story Traveler and in moments of weakness she’ll send hundreds of dollars on them.
Julianos has played Wizard 101 since it came out and is one of those fans that complains about the developers on Reddit (and rightfully so).
Purely on vibe alone and not relating to her domain, Kynareth plays Wordscapes and sends other aedra/daedra invites via text. Nobody has accepted yet.
Mara will play a variety of different games from Skyrim to Stardew Valley, but literally only does the bare minimum until she gets to the family building mechanics.
Stendarr played Undertale, only ever did the pacifist route, and then cried at the ending.
Zenithar plays Minecraft, and he thinks he’s better than Azura because he builds on survival. He’s also got a railroad connecting all the villages around his house.
Talos enjoys typical “hero goes on a quest to save the world” games like Legend of Zelda, but he has crazy controversial opinions about them and will post them casually on Reddit sparking insane debates and arguments that he doesn’t even participate in.
Lorkhan plays Minecraft and is better than Azura and Zenithar because he builds on the hard mode no cheats.
If wearing an amulet of Mara meant you're available for marriage, would some people see someone wearing an amulet of Dibella and think they want to fuck?
One of the best ways to immerse oneself into a fantasy world in my opinion is to invest a build around the unique aspects of the setting, especially pantheons or unique races, factions, or quests. However, while the Daedric Princes are able to be found in Skyrim, and each have a quest connected to them, the Aedra don’t have the same love. There’s a quest Dinya Balu can give you to unite lovers, Hamal will send you to find the Sybil of Dibella, and Danica Pure-Spring tasks the player with restoring a dead and sickly tree, but these are relatively small, short quests. While these missions are fine, I find myself craving more when it comes to Aedra involvement in the next installment.
I want to be able to pray to any god, Aedric, Daedric, or other. More than that, I want each god to provide a useful blessing. What’s the point of serving Sithis if I’m not going to get any blessing from committing murders in his name?
The blessings from worship should last longer than 8 hours. An hour is pretty short in-game, making blessings feel rather short-lived. Especially because the shrines are not usually in a central location for gameplay, the player is left going out of their way to get their blessings. I used a mod to put a statue of Nocturnal in the Cistern of the Thieves’ Guild from the early game, and because I had to pass the shrine to finish Thieves’ Guild quests, I could grab her blessing each time I passed her, so the 8 hour limit really wasn’t an issue. But that’s because the shrine was in an ideal location that grabbing her blessing didn’t require any active effort from me to seek it out. Either shrines need to be more readily available, or their blessings need to last longer.
The Wintersun mod should be used as a template for the next game. Not only does it make worship worthwhile, there’s an added incentive to be loyal to a particular deity.
There should be a faction for priests/cultists. Whether it’s a blanket faction that’s the same no matter which god you worship, or there’s a tailored one for each temple or god, I want to be able to join Dibella’s temple as a new recruit, and by the late game, be able to work my way up to high priest or priestess.
It would be nice if there was unique items for each Aedra and Daedra. It’s hard to feel like a priest of Dibella when your robes are the exact same as the priests of Mara or the priests of Talos. More colors, designs, etc would help each god feel different. It makes sense that Mara’s priests would be quite modest, while Dibella’s priestly robes would show off as much skin as possible. This would also extend to armor, weapons, or quest items. Enough that I could completely deck my character out in gear of a single god.
Make Sun damage a staple of the Restoration school moving forward. I used a mod to give my priest of Dibella the ability to deal sun damage to slay draugr and vampires, and he feels more like a holy character than I did running the exact same character using fire magic.
I want to have a reputation system with the specific god you worship. Based on your actions, decisions, donations, what-have-you. Perhaps even unlocking unique perks from being devoted to a particular god. Maybe even make religion its own separate perk tree so that you can grow stronger as your devote yourself to your deity’s whims.
I want to be able to live in a temple. This would obviously share some overlap with the holy factions idea, but I want the temple to literally count as my home. I want it to actually be my place of residence. It doesn’t make sense to roleplay as a priest but to not live in the church or temple. Otherwise, let me turn my player’s home into a temple. So long as the place where I rest my head is also a place where myself and others can come to worship.
If the Elder Scrolls VI has multiple starting points, I’d love for one of those options to be acting as a champion for any divine being. Say you choose Meridia, and she’ll make your main quest to take down a lich king due to her hatred for the undead. Choose Dibella, and she’ll task you with destroying a daedric cult of Mephala or Namira, the Daedra who represent all things creepy, crawly, and disgusting. Worship Sithis, and he’ll drive you to seek out the dark brotherhood and murder without mercy. Meanwhile, Kynareth sends you to destroy whatever is destroying a swath of wilderness like some sentient plague, Nocturnal would drive you to work as a master thief, and Molag Bal would have you subjugate people by seeking power and authority. By having various starting points and main goals, it allows each playthrough to be unique, especially if certain quests are hardlocked behind starting points. If you’re not worshipping Meridia, you’d only stumble upon the lich’s army by per coincidence. Without Dibella, you’d never know how to find the hidden lever that hides the entrance to Mephala’s hiding place. That sort of thing.
