Old Art Repost 3/10

This was for Tennotober 2023 but I don't remember what the prompt for this one was, teeth maybe? or fangs? I just labeled it as "tennotober 2" so no clue.

Absolutely sick though, I don't really do this style much anymore but damn does it look good. No notes. Love it.

I have two more pieces that go along with this one, only did three out of the whole list of prompts apparently. They're in the Queue so you'll see them over the next couple days.

Old Art Repost 6/10

This is the first art I ever made of Caelus. Heck this was before he had a unique name, I think I was still just referring to him as my Drifter, cus I don't know if I had my baby accounts back then.

It's very pretty, I love both versions, but I definitely love the hazy, rainbow effect I got on the left one. It's very Duviri coded, and very Caelus; the shifting between greyscale and oil slick? Very fun.

Old Art Repost 10/10

Not my first dabbling into designing warframes, but the one most polished. I am deeply pleased with these two, and how well I think I did to make them comparable to the older style with which warframes were designed. They are meant to be companions to Loki of course, who I have been contemplating rework/revamp ideas for.

And here is where I originally started with my exploration. Jotting down thoughts, roughing out shapes. And once the helmets were done and I was pleased with the colors (which I'm aware are off from the reference, yes) I moved on to the final designs you saw above.

At the bottom there you can see me playing with Loki trying to hypothesize how his clothing may have looked. I have since revisited this, to a certain degree of satisfaction, but I'm not ready to share that.

I do in fact have notes about their abilities, passives, weapons, and cosmetics. But I'm not sure whether I want to share them now, I think I'd rather wait until I have more illustrations. I do think it would be fun to try and show how they would animate and look while using their abilities, or perhaps their idles.

Loki's changes are part of a bigger concept I'm calling "Reforged", which I will save discussing as well, until I'm done working on the related fanframe; "Crucible".

Something else I love to do is take a warframe's design and turn it into clothing.

Enter, Yareli Pandea, as a two-piece suit.

If I ever did Drag, I would definitely wear this. I'm picturing something immensely sparkly, silver, for the top. And some sort of hot pink updo filled with pearls.

I didn't design the shoes unfortunately. Maybe I'll come back to that someday.

I feel like I should state, though it is perhaps unecessary, that I don't create these things with the intent or hope that DE will reach out to me to add these to the game. I'm not following the rules, I don't even know them. I'm just treating Warframe like my little sandbox to help build my creative skills and play with fun ideas.

Maybe someday I'll repurpose some of these things into new, original concepts, tweak them further to remove them from their original context while still staying true to the vision. That would be fun.

(And as an after thought, because I just observed it myself, if the way I type/my manner seems to change dramatically between posts; know that it is because I, much like the infestation, am many.)

"Lavos Warlock"

Skin concept, I LOVE doing these. Skin concepts and fanframes are some of my favorite creative things to think about and mess with honestly. I have a massive laundry list of ideas to work through over time. Especially since I've done most of these concepts in groups.

Lavos Warlock's companions are as follows:

Vauban Artificer + Moa Artifice

Nekros Necromancer

Oberon Cleric

I think Limbo's skin is the only one I'd started on and he's not in any kind of shareable state. It's a half sketch and I HATE the helmet design. Needs work lmao. This though? Love it. Well the design at least. Don't like this line art personally. I avoid using this brush like this nowadays.

A lot these, what I called, "Skin Sets" have some lore and story to them, but it's not overly fleshed out at the moment. I think the only one that is somewhat fleshed out is the Noir set and well...that's gonna have to be its whole own post someday.
