THE DREAM SYNOPSIS — LA MUSICALE
I’m like 90% asexual, and the only sex dream I’ve ever had featured me (female) as Paul McCartney fucking John Lennon in front of a bathroom mirror riiiiiiiight before a show in our Beatle suits. Circa 1964ish.
it is.
thank you for sharing and keep dreaming,
🤍band-guy-dream-report
when can you come back again (from war)?
I dreamt that I was at a TLSP concert with my mom (she’s quite old, not in the best health, fairly deaf, and doesn’t do concerts) but okay. They were performing a cover of Our Velocity by Maximo Park(?)
Miles was there, but I couldn’t see him anywhere on the stage. Alex had a broken foot and had a big protective shoe on and was using crutches. But instead of using a chair or postponing the show, or even leaning on Miles during the set, he was constantly hopping around the stage. He must have been wearing a headset mic to be able to sing (in hindsight that must have meant no mic sharing shenanigans too, but anyway).
The dream jumped forward in time and we were stood further back from the stage. My mom was trying to ask me about the music, attempting to shout over the din. But I was a bit distracted as Alex had jumped into the crowd and was hopping around, hitting audience members over the head with one of his crutches, Miles still nowhere in sight. The band kept playing undeterred, whilst Alex unleashed his fury.
@band-guy-dream-report I’d love your analysis because honestly, I’m stumped.
by the ghost of you and me
I love it when this fandom is right!
I came across this old Radio 4 interview from 2016, when Alex has a very earnest conversation with John Wilson about songwriting for TLSP.
I think we’ve speculated that The Dream Synopsis is about when Alex worked behind the bar at The Boardwalk (aka The Mucky Duck) but at 22.15 he actually confirms this!
Alex is on from 15.00 until 23.30
Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones, Hans Rosenfeldt, Alex Turner, Ian McKellen.
Calm like you- The Last Shadow Puppets
