Spooking myself silly listening to the Uncanny podcast.

Uncanny is a show about the paranormal, written and hosted by Danny Robbins. Interviewing witnesses and investigating supernatural activity.

I'm not a believer per se, but absolutely love this kind of stuff.

I think my favourite are the time jump stories.

John complains about not being able to promote his other stuff on the BBC, but he is also just bad at promoting other guest appearances he's made on the BBC too. I found this one lately, where John was a guest on Ivo Graham's Obsessions show on BBC Radio 4 (something he could well have promoted on 5 Live) back in October, talking about Franz Zappa and generally being a panellist.

I'm linking it below, but unfortunately as of yesterday, it and most BBC Radio programmes are not available to listen back to outside the UK, so it's going to take me well longer to download and post stuff and there will be VPN-related data restrictions, but if any of you in the UK want to listen to this (or want my help in downloading and reuploading stuff to here, I'm happy to help), here it is.

I love it when this fandom is right!

I came across this old Radio 4 interview from 2016, when Alex has a very earnest conversation with John Wilson about songwriting for TLSP.

I think we’ve speculated that The Dream Synopsis is about when Alex worked behind the bar at The Boardwalk (aka The Mucky Duck) but at 22.15 he actually confirms this!
