"What type of patronus was that? A little lizard on fire?!"
"It's not a lizard, salamanders are amphibians. It's called a Fire Dwelling Salamander." Cassius stated.
"Your patronus also takes the corporeal form of a magical creature?" noted Susan.
"Yeah." The former Chaser said sheepishly.
"Is Netsu like that too?"
"Netsu is a gecko. Not the same" said Poonima.
"That's amazing! Did you all know that salamanders are used in the runic alphabet to represent the number six. And, and - there are different types of salamanders, such as the blue and the scarlet variety." The blue one is um frozen, no that's not right, the frost salamander!" Mafalda excitedly exclaimed.
"The Amazonian Salamander is a rarity and endangered back in Brazil." Tracey added.
"They can eat crystals and minerals for substance. The one I saw ate topaz stones."
"Their skin shined like all the colours of the sun, ranging from light and dark pinks to light peach, vibrant reds, and vibrant yellows."
"You saw it while in your animagus form?"
"Yep, it was pretty cool."
"Did you eat it?"
"No."
"Salamander blood is good for healing potions too" Poonima nodded.
"Emmeline always had a vial on hand during our journeys. She said it was one of a Curse-Breakers essentials. I think we should stock up on some, for us and when we're getting supplies for the safehouses."
"We are like salamanders." Susan gazed into fireplace. Born out of fire and not easy to snuff out."
"I keep thinking about what Rufus Scrimgeour and Augustus Rookwood said."
"Scrimgeour called us fallen feathers of the Phoenix."
"Rookwood said we were remnants of a failed organization and will be reduced to ashes once again."
"I refuse to accept that."
"We aren't just the legacy of the Order, our identities are our own."
"We will not become someone's sacrificial lamb or martyr."
"We inhabit the element of fire itself like the phoenix bird but we don't have wings."
"We won't be reborn from ashes, we are -
"Embers, that burn brightly as a fire starts to fade." Poonima grabbed a piece of wood out the fireplace and cupped it with her hand. "Smoldering embers."
"They can glow very hot, sometimes as hot as the fire which created them." Cassius eyes lit up as if he had scored a goal.
"Embers can be used to relight a fire after it has gone out without the need to rebuild the fire." whispered Mafalda.
Tracey's cheshire cat grin widened "Embers can be carried by the winds and start an even bigger fire."
"Embers of the Salamander."
"EoS for short."
"Eos, like the dawn."

I took this picture back in November and I've probably posted it before, but it's my favorite photograph i've ever taken.
