Jakob Coyote, my third sona, in his Facadian form. It’s been a while since I’ve drawn my boy so I decided I’d sketch him as a warm up. Besides Kronos, Jakob is probably the sona I’m most closest to. This alien Lycan he shifts into is also super close to me, and the connection he has with it is very important to his story.
A Facade is an alien lycan that only a Kruvarrian can obtain, a Kruvarrian is a shapeshifting extraterrestrial who live in colonies similar to bees. Jakob is an Emperor type Kruvarrian and obtained his Facade when encountering a lycan on earth with his research team. The toxins of the lycan saliva interacting with the chemical build of Kruvarrian blood triggers the Facade to form, however it doesn’t always happen. So far only royal Kruvarrian types have obtained the Facade, or so the Kruvarrian Counsel states. The Facade is a whole other individual to it’s host body, having its own personality and logic from the body it’s attached to. However the Facade and it’s host can share memories and the Facade has been known to influence decisions made by its host. It’s main purpose is to survive so it will do anything it can to keep itself and the host alive.
A good relationship with the Facade is key, otherwise the Facade will try to destroy you, which will ultimately destroy itself. Jakob thankfully has a very close relationship with his Facade and Jakob’s mate even sports one too, which he showed how to become close to. I may share more regarding their story when I draw more of them, I’ve been wanting to draw Jakob and his mate together for awhile.
