So I have this FAHC or Battle Buddies AU where essentially the battle buddies are called battle buddies because they work for a super shady company and do highly illegal and high risk jobs and somehow survive through skill and dumb luck.
No one knows though that the battle buddies aren’t just the two people who go on missions, known as Vagabond and Rimmy Tim, and also consist of a hacker who goes by Axial who helps out the two other Battle Buddies privately.
Problem, no one knows that. As in, Vagabond and Rimmy Tim also don’t know that.
I mean, sure they have worked with the guy. Hell, he is on the call almost 24/7 walking them through their missions. But still, like, that’s all he is. He researches shit for them, finds floorplans and easy escapes, but that’s all he does.
I mean, they are friends with him too. But he’s just quiet and awkward and kind and just really fucking weird. And he is secretive as fuck. They don’t even know his real name, despite him knowing theirs.
And so when Axial hears a building that the battle buddies need to go into is wired to explode, Axial knows his Buddies won’t refuse the job. They won’t fucking care.
So Axial contacted a local gang, some big high up one, told them to distract those two and to not hurt them. And the Gang listened.
That became a common thing, Axial contacted local Gangs, such as The Roosters, The Fake Achievement Hunter Crew, Fakehaus, The Derp Crew, and more.
So when Axial is kidnapped and the remaining Battle Buddies are refused help by their shady company, they quit. And they have to work with this other group, The FAHC, to get back their friend.
They also discover a fuckload of secrets.
