tldr (from that last post);

The Loth Wolf episodes of late S4 of Rebels established Kanan/Dume as the Grey Wolf, Ezra as the Prince, Sabine as the Princess, and Ahsoka as the Firebird in a very loose adaptation of the fairy tale Tsarevich Ivan, the Firebird, and the Gray Wolf.

Ahsoka S2 was code named “Firebird”, so it might be continuing the themes from those episodes while drawing on a different adaptation of the same story - The Firebird ballet - in order to make the Firebird the main Good Magic character and helper to the Prince and Princess (in the absence of the Grey Wolf).

Interestingly, the very most basic plot of The Firebird ballet is that the Firebird must defeat an evil wizard and his minions so that the Prince and Princess, who are in love, can marry and live Happily Ever After.

So if that is what the Ahsoka S2 code name means, then I'm all for it.

Today's random ass analysis that I just came up with is:

Is this male ballet lead a green flag (🟩) or a red flag? (🚩)

The Nutcracker Prince (The Nutcracker): Literally just an enchanted toy who's willing to bring you on a ride through magical kingdoms full of sweets and toys. A little girl's dream come true; too bad he's not real. (🟩)

Siegfried (Swan Lake): He's a dreamer boy, a lil dumb, a lil cute, the perfect epitome of "I don't wanna get married, I wanna have fun with my friends and find true love 🥺". And then falls in love with a cursed bird girl. Idealistic much, but who can blame him? (🟩)

Desiré (Sleeping Beauty): Is it a hot take if I say I find him kinda boring? All bro does is going on a hunt, talking to a fairy and kissing some girl. Beige flag I guess?

Solor (La Bayadère): This one's a bit tricky. On one hand he straight up gets married to the princess despite already bring in a relationship, though on the other hand you clearly see how he has no other chance, how conflicted and troubled he is. Though if you go with the interpretation that he's too charmed by the allure of becoming a prince and dumps his gf only to feel guilty later, then by all means (🚩)

Albrecht (Giselle): Ohh boy, not even Giselle can save you here. Is it absolutely heartbreaking to watch him dance himself to death in Act 2? Absolutely. But did he really have to go after this random peasant girl AND conceal his identity while already being engaged and cause her to die of heartbreak? Absolutely not. (🚩🚩🚩)

Prince Ivan (The Firebird): As I said about Sleeping Beauty's prince, he doesn't do much at all. He just 1. tries to catch a girl bird and 2. gets his ass saved by said bird. And cracks a golden egg. Beige flag

Romeo (Romeo and Juliet): This is more of a Shakespearean debate, and honestly I believe that it's not R&J's fault for what happened. But one might speculate further. He's just a bit depressed, guys, it's not his fault. (🟩?)

Des Grieux (Manon): A walking academic weapon, a poetic soul, hot af, throws it all out the window to follow this "dangerous" girl he just met on the other side of the world. Not to say it's Manon's fault, but he should have know better tbf. Took "follow your dreams" a bit too literally. (🚩)

Oberon (The Dream): Literally no one in their right mind would argue with their wife over the possession of a page boy (wtf?) but hey. he's the King of the Fairies and he's sexy. What more could you possibly want? (🟩)
