RAYMOND HEADCANNON!! Raymond is really insecure about his appearance which is why he acts all confident and egotistical. He thinks that if he acts confident in how he looks, people will also think he looks good. Hes expecally insecure about his nose cause of how long and pointy is. If anyone even makes the slightest remark about it, he becomes extremly defensive and maybe even cries a little. The only ones who know about his insecurities is his family.

So I have this headcannon that Soul and Wes actually have another brother and he is a little shit. I know, I know, evil sibling OC's are the worst. But hear me out. The brat is born when Soul is one, so all the doting and aww, look he took his first steps and stuff was completely skipped over Soul and replaced by aww, look at the new baby. This is why Soul wanted to leave, his parents where wonderful people, they just got distracted by the newer addition. Wes, however loved Soul. He play with him and feed him and got him dressed and all that fluffy stuff (Wes was like 10 years older). He also was the one who taught him his first song on the piano (age 2, twinkle twinkle little star) When Soul reached like age 8 Wes moved to Europe to go to some fancy music university and Soul was left with the shitty little brother and his parents, who still doted on the brat constantly. This was around the time he started making up the dark piano pieces. It wasn't on purpose at first. He was just messing around, and testing out the 12 tone technique. His bratty brother found it annoying so he played that way more and more and more and he quickly started to like this style. He found it very relatable and sort of comforting. His parents where kind of put off by it and his brother hated it with a passion. Wes loved that Soul had found something that was completely his own that he loved (Soul usually had to share everything with his little brother). He though that the music was passionate and very Soul. The brat was annoying. He got the last cookie, he got away with everything and his parents thought he played the flute perfectly (he was actually very mediocre). This would explain why Soul was so eager to leave home when he discovered his weapon form. Because he loved Wes,he didn't want to leave him, but he was in Europe. He just wanted to get away from his little brother and his parents house and to be his own person. He had a genius older brother and a spoiled younger brother, he was just average and felt bad about it. But then he meet Maka and, the rest is history.
