Hair: pale brunette/caramel

General Temperament: stubborn but calm

Fears: never belonging even if she makes a choice on her heritage, finding out her parents were horrible people

Backstory

Childhood: born to a man and an elf whom are unknown to her, she was given to the people in Mirkwood where an unnamed elf working for the king took her in and raised her, she grew up alongside Legolas (and Tauriel), training with them and eventually developing keen hunting and tracking skills alongside combat skills, most proficient with a bow.

Key Life Events: has not yet chosen either side of her heritage and felt pressure from others to make a choice (while being made to feel unwelcome), suspected parents may be Gandalf and Galadriel but never gets confirmation, falls in love with Thorin after meeting him and joining his company (much like Tauriel to Kili and much to Legolas' dislike)

Connection to the Canon Plot: helped fight the orcs at the edge of Mirkwood but followed the dwarves down the river and helped them to shore, upon meeting bard he convinced them to let her come along for the sake of avoiding running into more orcs should she turn back and stayed with the company from then on.

Abilities and Gear

Weapons of Choice: bow, elven short sword, elven daggers

Skills: tracking/hunting, long ranged combat, sewing

Magic Abilities: innate elven proficiency for healing, unaware of anything else (lacks training).

Once in Erebor and Thorins back on the throne Balin takes the time to create a special book for himself and the others.

This book contains all the stories you shared with him while on the journey. The good, the bad, and all the strange ones he doesn't quite understand from the world you come from. Even still each story is precious and he hopes this book will remain with him and the others for a lifetime and after.

The world felt silence once more, a calm sort of silence mixed with a lingering mourning and the relief of hard fought victory. The funeral was over and many were on their seperate ways but final goodbyes had yet to be said, despite words being a fleeting thing in the midst of emotion. Bilbo and Elarie could only think of thorin's last wish for them and how they would honour it going forward with their lives after the loss. Accompanied by the wizard on the journey home the half elf promised the hobbit they would keep in touch by writing one another over the years to come before she too parted ways for a final time. Elarie had much to attend in a new chapter of her life in order to follow through with thorin's wish for her to choose her elven half of heritage and live long.
