Tactical Moves - Soledad & Elric

I'm baaaaaack with another story post featuring mine and @the-shadowfell-darkroom's lovebirds, Soledad and Elric! Always so much fun putting these two into situations! 🥰

This one plays a little more into how so very human it feels to catch feelings for someone, even when trying to save a world that's essentially on a ticking timer. Because there's always time to be smooth and flirty around co-workers... Right?

Calluna Oíche

Calluna comes from a different realm but she was born on a day when the veil was extremely thin. As all her family had been witches or magic users on good terms with the fey when she was born they treated it as a pact and gifted her their powers on the condition that her family always kept up good relationships and fostered understanding between the less magic inclined folks.

Meanwhile in faerun, Durge was in acting their absolute plan. Only problem was Orin, instead of Orin tadpoling Durge she killed them. However one of the cultists was an extremely strong wizard and really didn’t want to serve under Orin as the chosen so they used Wish to bring durge back. Durge’s soul though didn’t wanna come back, and so wish looked for a replacement. A soul that was a near match for durge, that was easy to drag between the veils of the worlds. Funny enough they even looked alike. Bhaal having really no desire for Orin to be his chosen either, even helped the wish along. Since durge was his soul after death, Bhaal fused the two souls together.

then the second problem happened. While both were non binary, durge was born male and Calluna not…. While the universe reconciled this The original body had been soulless, violent and eventually shipped off to the nautiloid where it disappeared and Calluna was brought in gaining a presence that eventually solidified into an amnesiac spirit in her head that also didn’t know why it was having these issues… a bunch of races and terms and people she didn’t understand, and a cult thinking they were the chosen heir. Oh yeah and a tadpole. It’s not like she didn’t have enough head issues with the migraines to start with.

welcome to Alice in wonderland where the Cheshire Cat is a displacer beast, the white rabbit is really a cat Sidhe who luckily has your good fortune in mind, the mad hatter is actually the pied piper and stuck in your head and Alice is an pact child (also an older sibling) so done with shit.

Jeremiah & the Ochre Jelly

I wrote some in the line art and I’ll write more in the finished version but Muninn basically goes around most of the game with disguise self on to look like a normal half elf. Since this is after the game, they are more confident in themselves especially around their friends and show off their true appearance more.

this is one of those moments. (Yes Muninn has star pupils and in one eye double iris)

Backstory: His exact place of birth is unknown to him, and all he knows is that he was most likely born somewhere along the sword coast. He is an orphan, and was abandoned as an infant at the Lady Luck tavern in Daggerford, where he was subsequently taken in by Tymora’s faithful.

Though he is generally easygoing and congenial, he can also be highly competitive and terribly stubborn, often making rash decisions that skirt the line of bravery and stupidity.

last time on Muninn’s adventures…well I had to restart him due to mod issues and I was figuring out a face. Rng doesn’t like the later numbers. Anyways last time Muninn had met scratch and karlach. Helped karlach with a toll house and while karlach was trashing the place, found a wine seller, making the alcohol fiends very happy. They also adopted scratch.

A tour through the country side had the group avenging the local wildlife from gnolls, and starting the legendary friendship between barcus and Muninn. (Barcus doesn’t know it yet.) Muninn also saves fezzerk for the first time. (I love gale’s little snarl)

He then runs into a bunch of ogres aaaand could outwit them…. But decides to avenge the tiefling refugee instead.

After defeating the ogres and talking to the tiefling’s ghost, the group spends the day goofing off in the apothecary. Well after a quick pit stop to the grove for karlach to meet Damon. Then astarion trips over the cellar door and the rest of the night is fighting the undead. (Only undead they like is the bat related variety with white hair) The group shows off their cool class or race powers and Muninn picks up a book for future study.

Now he’s deciding whether or not to go down the suspiciously dry well. On one hand, it’s ominous. On the other hand….. he dropped gold down there.
