Toki Pona | Prolangs
Toki Pona is a character based off of a constructed language of the same name. So, to make this less confusing. Toki Pona = the character toki pona = the language
•the simple design of just two colors, a basic yet expressive mouth, the use of simple shapes and lines, and arms hidden under their clothing do a great job of reflecting toki pona’s emphasis on minimalism as a conlang onto Toki Pona’s character design.
•The little lines on Toki Pona’s hat don’t just make Toki Pona’s character more recognizable, but (to me) look like “emitters” which are a type of radical that make up some toki pona logograms, further linking Toki Pona as a character to toki pona as a conlang.
•also, the hat and scarf are just really cool and the symbol on Toki Pona’s chest is cute but also says the words “toki pona”.

This specific incarnation of fiddlesticks is from an AU called "Star Guardians" that's essentially like madoka magica / sailor moon with magical girls and whatnot. Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks was actually once a girl named Harp who was on the original team of Star Guardians !!
