The Joynt was one of Eau Claire's most popular music venues. Although live music is something that hasn't happened there in decades, this Water Street hangout has hosted many big name acts throughout the years.
Meet the Prime Time Big Band as they performed at The Joynt in 1987. On the piano is very young and future-GRAMMY-Nominated Pianist Geoffrey Keezer.

The Joynt & Maya Mayne - "Product of my Placement"
The Joynt captures a little-seen side of Ottawa, the Capital of Canada. Near as I can tell, The Joynt is popular in the local scene in Ottawa, seeing as it's his hometown. Personally, I'm not a huge fan (not saying he's bad though). However, what makes him somewhat impressive is that he struggles with stuttering, but somehow he's managed to eke out a rap fandom for himself. I would encourage people to check him out.
